Mediocre. I got the seafood pasta, and it was pretty disappointing. The shrimps and other seafood were very overcooked. Although I haven’t been to Olive Garden for over a decade, this kind of reminded me of their food. My 80 years old grandma liked their fois gras, but she thought the crab cake was too heavy and salty even with her aged taste buds. Their duck was very good and soft, comparable to Michelin rated French restaurant! The herb roasted poulet was quite good too, the sauce was excellent! However, it was a bit overcooked. Overall it’s not a bad place for where it is located.

The food and drinks are excellent and appropriately priced. We eat here at least 3-4 times a month. Has the best car area!!!

The food is great, and the creme brulee is astoundingly good. Service was a bit slow on a week night; not sure why, but it was. Tried to rationalize it but couldn’t. Great atmosphere, and great chance to try different dishes. Be aware, though, that you can easily spend $15 a person
Alcohol at this establishment isn’t that good. Very very strong mix drinks.

Dined on 12/31 food was good but very disappointed with service. Seated at 7:10 and rushed through a dinner that ended at 8:00. Server was friendly but failed to describe the entrees which were very limited. She never asked about apps or salads just took the entrees and ran. Food came within minutes which indicates the dishes were pre-prepared and sitting under a warmer. Server never asked about a second round of drinks and pitched desserts on a negative way. Check appeared faster than the entrees and we felt we were pushed out the door. Note the restaurant was not full and no one was waiting at the door. On the way out no one at the hostess station asked for our feedback just talking among themselves.
This was our first visit and probably our last.I can spend $100 at a lot of other places and get far better treatment. The menu was interesting but certainly offset by the unprofessional service offered. We anticipated a great experience but they came up very very short.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place when I was walking around downtown Crystal Lake. The outside is quite deceiving, but once you’re inside its actually quite cozy. Plenty of space and great light near the front of the bar.
The service and food was great. We were there for lunch so I got a soup/sandwich combo. The potato soup was awesome.
Its also close to the train station, which makes it a good stopover for anyone waiting to head to the city.

Fantastic service from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Fair price for some delicious food in a nice cozy atmosphere.

Ordered carry out from the new Crystal Lake location. Food may be a bit over priced, but it is definitely food. Staff was nice, place seemed clean, ambiance was great. Word of warning though, don’t base your food decisions off of the pictures on their website, they look nothing alike. And if you are particular about your food or have allergies… ask about what is on your dish. The burger I ordered came with cheese when that wasn’t in the description or picture (no big deal) and the chocolate cake came with ice cream – not listed – and no raspberry sauce which was listed. I am allergic to ice cream, so unfortunately it had to be sent back.

Love coming here! My husband and I prefer to eat at the high tops in the bar area. I have been here at least a dozen times. With friends and family. Some of the help are real characters which I enjoy!! Have never been disappointed.

My party went in late around 11:00 pm New Years Eve. The staff was not only welcoming but showed us a good time as we rang in 2017. We missed dinner but when I asked if they had anything, the kitchen had already closed and they bought me bread and butter for nothing. Now that is class. I feel like we missed the best place to spend the whole evening, even though we did go to the Rau. Can’t wait to have dinner here next week and try the food
