We haven’t been here since they had new owners. How pleasantly surprised we were! The menu was great offering a wide variety of items along with daily specials. We had the bacon burger, chicken salad and gluten free pancakes topped with Caramelized, bananas, and fresh strawberries. They were amazing. They offer gf bread making sandwiches and burgers a reality being gluten free. I should clarify the restaurant does not offer gluten FREE, but gluten sensitive/friendly options ( they don’t have a designated fryer etc). The staff was very accommodating to help you figure out your menu choices. Very friendly. The pancakes were fluffy and the fruit on top was top notch. They had a showcase of many pastries (not gf) that my friends took advantage of. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re in or near Inverness ( oh also a few outside tables which is always nice) prices are very fair( refreshingly so) Sandwiches around $10 and burgers around $12.

We had a very pleasant breakfast experience at Central Cafe and bakery. Our server was very nice and attentive. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. I had the Denver omelette which was delicious and my husband had the biscuits and gravy which he also enjoyed. The coffee was good and wasn’t your typical watered down cup of diner coffee. The place is very clean and looks freshly painted. The ambience has a nice modern country feel to it. We will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu.

We definitely found our Breakfast spot. I had the international breakfast (German farmers breakfast) that came in a big bowl. I added spinach and ham and all I have to say is you won’t be disappointed.
Along with very good food came great service, our server Lexi was Awesome. She’s a keeper so Mgmt give her a raise.

Wow! Central Cafe & Bakery knocked it out of the park again!! I entered the cafe and was immediately greeted and seated by a lovely hostess. Matia, my new favorite human being, quickly came to my table and took my drink order. She is kind, well kept (IYKYK), and perfectly attentive without being annoying. This time I ordered the Belgian Waffle with delicious, caramelized bananas and black coffee. The portions are always extraordinarily generous, so bring your appetite! Everything came out quickly and piping hot. It was such a dining pleasure, I can’t wait to go back. Everything was clean, even the bathrooms were spotless and well stocked. It’s my turn to treat my girls to lunch, and this is where we’re going!!

I saw their sign on the bike path and figured I could use a pastry. The staff was very polite and professional. I got a pastry to go. But I’ll be back to find in soon. Looks like a cozy spot. I love bike friendly businesses along bike paths. This place even has a bike rack to lock the bikes up

We’ve had a really good breakfast. My roommate had the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was fresh and homemade. I had the Denver omlette. It was really good. The hash browns were nice and crispy. My server was Matia. She did a really good job. Came back each time to fill my coffee cup and made sure everything was good. Ill definitely be back.

We have been to this Cafe several times and everything was good until this recent Wednesday and we had to wait 45 minutes for our food, wave down a waitress to get a 2nd cup of coffee which the guy spilled on the table and did not wipe up and when our food finally arrived our crepes were served on a cold plate, only a few bananas in the crepes and the caramelized drizzle was cooked so long it turned to clumps of sugar. No one seemed to care and plus the place had only 3 tables to serve and the 2 waitresses were just standing around talking. Very disappointed and needless to say after having to pay for a crappy meal we will not be going back there again!!!

Received gift card for Central Cafe, used it for lunch. Great experience, food was hot and delicious. Server was very good, kept checking back to make sure we had all we needed. Would recommend Central Cafe to everyone.
