The person that made my sandwich had the capacity of a zombie, and the speed of a sloth. The person was completely not standing in front of me but elsewhere doing what ever zombies do, where ever they do it!
The owner had opened the door for me and it went down hill from there…
I told zombie, I mean the sandwich maker, the bread, the length, type and cheese… and yet zombie asked “foot long?” What kind of cheese…
I will tell you, I feel bad if this person is of diminished capacity. I believe this person is just not very customer service oriented, and maybe not very nice. I have eaten at this subway once before and didn’t have a great experience that time as well. The workers (people making the sandwiches) don’t seem very happy about there, maybe it’s because customer service isn’t part of their zombie mind set.
I don’t mind paying the extra. I just worry that since they don’t need to follow website promotions, they also don’t need to follow proper sanitizing protocols and food safety measures set by Subway.
To be honest, the reason I choose chain restaurants over local business is that I am almost certain what quality of food I will be getting, especially during a pandemic.
But if Subway keep letting stores to set their own rules, it is not just false advertising to customers , but will also lose trust from us customers.
