Emil’s has consistently proven to be an excellent choice for lunch! We recently used them for a sizeable work function and they absolutely delivered. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless.
The food was, as always, incredibly tasty!
What particularly impressed us with the catering order was the organization. Everything was packaged securely, and the orders were very clearly organized, which made the distribution at our event quick and easy.
Emil’s is certainly a dependable staple of the Fruitvale Plaza scene, and we highly recommend them.

So I ordered from doordash I can’t really rate the service or the atmosphere but things I would change with my order or make sure to note things. One I did ask for cream cheese and jelly for my egg sandwich which they did give me but they didn’t give me any syrup for my pancakes or butter they also didn’t give me any utensils or napkins. And they didn’t add any salt and pepper to the eggs or the hash browns. The sandwich was good the pancakes were huge but they were super Bland. If I ever order from them again I would probably only get an egg sandwich.
Also the pancake sandwich is not an actual pancake sandwich it’s pancakes with sides do not be confused as I was. Also a plus for the price you get a pretty good size the pancake sandwich came with three patties which is a lot of patties and the egg sandwich came with two patties. Huge portions for great prices.

I wish they had chili until closing lol. The owner cooks the food really great, it’s calm inside, food is Delicious, staff is wonderful and on a personal note, the girl that works the counter is without question, one of the friendliest, sweetest, happiest, most caring, attentive people in the service industry I’ve ever known and also has a deep beautiful soul. The world NEEDS more Anna’s and less of what it has now. Thank you ask for the great service and good and even friendship. Love coming here each month. James

One of my all time favorite breakfast and burger place! The burgers are so so good!! The jalapeno burger is a must! They have an awesome breakfast menu; big portions for the right price(cheap). An inexpensive place with great food. They cook everything once you place the order, so it takes a little bit for the food to come out, just like a restaurant but with fast food pricing I would say. Super worth it, must check out!

This has place has gone way downhill since covid. Theyre randomly closed during business hours, close early, and dont pick up their phone during business hours.
Sad because the food is good, the price is right, and the location near the bart is great, but we cant be customers if youre never open.

They have a nice selection of standard breakfast items such as eggs, omelets, French toast, pancakes and meats. The service was very friendly. The dining room is clean and comfortable.
