Fantastic fried chicken tenders. The chicken and waffles is great too, as is the sandwich and salad. Probably the best fried chicken tenders around. And I can’t forget the fries, which are out of this world! Light and crispy, just perfect. Always very friendly people working there and they’ve done a great job making the place inside fun with little tabletop games. I recommend this place all the time for the food most of all. However, I also have to shout out that they have excellent taste in music. I see people pass this place by, and realize they don’t know how secretly good it is.

I had re write my review bc I should’ve edited my previous one . After walking around at the oyster fest we found this little gem . My teenage kids loved the Mac and cheese, my son said next to mine was the best he ever had. The chicken was fresh , plump, juicy and flavorful ..my wife s haberno sandwich was great, but beware of the sauce it s really spicey but good. , fries were crispy and well seasoned . Very , happy , welcoming staff . Bc I m gluten free I had a salad. Next time I m bringing my own bread bc I was very envious of everyone s food!

Their online ordering does not have the same items as on their menu, which was confusing. Sandwiches were really big, a good deal for the price. I wasn’t a huge fan of the bird sauce, not sure what the addition of the corn was about.

Such a cute restaurant, really gives the “beachy” vibes. The man at the register was extremely kind and gave great recommendations based on what we were looking for. The chicken is moist and tender, and so so crispy, literally cooked to perfection and the perfect ratio of chicken to batter. I got the chipotle chicken sandwich, the chipotle has a nice kick(4/10, so may be too hot for those who can’t handle a lot of spice, but mild for those who can), and the avocado adds the perfect soft, creaminess mixture into the sandwich, with fresh, crunchy lettuce and a soft, fresh, fluffy bun. I have never had such a delicious chicken sandwich before, truly. Would recommend to anyone, 1000/10, will most definitely be back to try the rest!

Wow! What a great little gem for awesome chicken! First time here I tried “The Bird”, which is their original grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, pickles and their secret sauce. Tonight I went out on a limb with the mango habanero chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. Be prepared for some heat!

This is the best takeout place we’ve found in Oyster Bay. The restaurant itself is beautiful with traditional “beach vibes” perfect for the name.
Everything is made to order so expect a small wait but its well worth it ! Their chicken is out of this world. Hot, juicy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Their fries are equally as great.
Menu is simple (as it should be) with enough options but not enough to overwhelm customers. Prices are fair as well you can expect two sandwiches, fries, and drinks to run you about $30. You’d pay the same at a fast food joint but this food 10000% better.
Our go to is the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich . Expect some heat but its absolutely delicious !! Overall this restaurant is the best (non-high end) in town. Perfect for lunch or takeout. Wishing them many years of success so we can keep buying it !! ️ you guys ROCK !!

Beach Bird in Oyster Bay is hands down the best fried chicken spot I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going consistently for over a year, and everything on the menu is excellent – sandwiches, tenders, nuggets, wraps, salads, fries – all made with high-quality, juicy, flavorful chicken. The fries are perfectly seasoned with a light breading, the wraps and salads are fresh and satisfying, and the prices are unbeatable.
I was just telling my girlfriend the other day that I’ve never once left this place unsatisfied – and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say that about any restaurant in my life. There’s always a small miss somewhere, but Beach Bird has been consistently perfect every single time.
Whenever I visit Oyster Bay, it’s often my first and last stop – I’ve even skipped family dinners just to eat here. The owner is friendly, the staff are local, and the quality never disappoints. Truly a gem.

ordered an 8-piece chicken nugget and chicken n waffles; nuggets were decent size, seasoned to perfection and the honey mustard is bomb.
chicken n waffles was definitely on the sweeter side, but still tasty and unlike any i’ve ever had as the waffle was more like a funnel cake.
service was relatively quick, very attentive and the inside is super cute, perfect for a casual date night–we’ll definitely be back and recommend a visit!!

The service is so good but there is a girl that works there during the day who gives so much attitude to us when we order food. She acts like she doesn’t want to be there at all. She speaks quietly and coldly like she wants nothing but to go home. She handed us our drinks and when we said thank you she didn’t even look at us and just walked away.
There is a guy that works there that I believe is named James who is very nice and friendly to everyone that comes and goes. He gets everything right and just seems to enjoy his job at beach bird.
