Ordered a couple lasagna dinners for takeout on a Saturday. The owner was very friendly and service was prompt. Got home and tried the lasagna and was very disappointed. Tasted like it had been heated and reheated several times. The sauce had absolutely no flavor. They had to know the food they were serving was not worth what they were charging. Tasted like Chef Boyardee. The bread was good at least. Also ordered a sub to go for my son. He said it was pretty good but still overpriced

1st visit. The food was exceptional. Got a hit muffaletta and chicken parm. The bread was perfect. Crispy and soft. Huge portions and lots of cheese, easy on the sauce so it wasn’t messy! The flavors of the muffa were spot on, so many layers of meats. It’s open to eat in or take out, with hot and cold foods. There’s an entire menu, everything from a deli sub to lasagna! Definitely will be returning often!

I stop in here once in a while just to see what they are making, it is different every day, everything is delicious and not your standard American Italian dishes, very unique. A bit pricey but worth it as a treat a few times a week.

When you walk in, the lady working the counter is so kind. But the food.. No matter what you get there, it’s delicious. I’ve been here a few times and have gotten something different each time. You can’t go wrong. The muffletta and the pizza is the best I’ve had in Rockford, and I make a point to try all the pizza in town.
