Absolutely the worst and coldest hot breakfast I’ve had. Brought my whole family for a Sunday breakfast. The restaurant was not busy. It was 8am and there were 9 people there. After we ordered our breakfast, we sat and waited inside the restaurant. We waited, waited, and waited. Finally our food came out. I ordered a medium rare steak and eggs .I received 2 pieces of sliced, overcooked, rubberized, meat. Kids and wife had chicken steaks, sausages, bacon, biscuits and gravy along with a few pancakes. All the food were cold..i mean really really cold. The pancakes were not fully cook thu. The bacon were tough as cardboard. We paid the bill and went home to get cereals and oatmeal.
I dont recommend this location. Mayne give phill location a try. I’m not sure if it is poorly managed or just employee turnover in general. There’s no excuse for serving hot breakfast food this cold and mess up the lonely steak. Stay away.

We went there on their $10 prime rib night. I have to admit it was pretty good for only $10! They also had the option to add shrimp for $2, & mushrooms & onions for $1. It was a very good meal for $13!

Our waiter was awesome and gave me his recommendation for this spider sushi on half off sushi Tuesday. My first time trying it and was very good along with this dressed up Bloody Mary. This is a great place to get a nice sushi dinner fix on a budget. They have also brought me special order Rachel Sushi available at Altoona HyVee. It is made in a dragon design.

So the big news is that they brought back hash browns for breakfast. Not sure why they ever got rid of them, seemed ridiculous. Apparently having hash browns back justifies a $4 increase in a simple breakfast skillet. Old price was $9 new price $13. It’s a self serve food counter what the heck. The actual food is ok just don’t order anything with gravy on it. The new gravy can be used as a salt lick if need be. People with hypertension steer clear.

Absolutely disgusting hygiene of the staff and facility. I came in for lunch and watched food being prepared by multiple staff with no gloves, staff with runny nose wipe nose while preparing food, and continue to do so. I informed the manager, and food was not thrown out but instead served. NEVER EAT HERE EVER!! If you don’t believe this review, just go there and observe for yourself.

I appreciated that some of us could order off the menu and others could get the salad bar. The kids meals were very good. My only disappointment was that everyone else (including other ordered meals, not just salad bar) was done way before my salmon. That itself is not terrible, but the salmon arrived clearly underdone. When they brought it back, it was done and tasted fine, but the side dishes on the plate were now cold and the salmon was a bit dry. It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t worth the $17 charged for the salmon. The staff was attentive and friendly and we’ll be back. We might just skip the salmon.

Breakfast before shopping, we should have ate at home. The Works Omelet was sub pare, the potatoes were hard, burnt, looked like they were left from previous order. The double take platter: bacon was great, sausages were greasy, eggs-ok, pancakes were huge. They must have run out of butter as I only got 1 little slab for the 2 huge pancakes. Silverware were tacky, napkin dispenser was awful gross. Getting coffee n the gal directs to the only woking craft. Put a cup on it or brew some more. The gal cleaning tables needs assistance. She drags the sm kitchen garbage can to each table, scrapes and hand moves items to garbage while stringing the syrup from plate over table to garbage. She has a coat on, sleeves all over. Now, as we walked through the sliding doors it smelt musty, pissy all together. First time there, one & done. Won’t be coming back.

I ate supper here and order the BLT with broccoli. My boyfriend had the rib eye with the broccoli. We also had the bacon/jalapeno wontons for the appetizer. The bacon jalapeno wontons were great. The bacon on my BLT was fatty and look as if it were half cooked in the microwave. Our broccoli was cold and not cooked, it needed to be on a veggie platter served with ranch. My boyfriend’s steak had no salt or pepper on it. I sent the food back, letting the waitress know that I was not satisfied, She apologized, offered me to order something else, and notified her manager. I did not want to order again and she got $5 knocked off my bill, which is fine. My biggest issue is the customer service from the manager. Once a young (high school) waitress comes to let them know that a customer is dissatisfied with their food, they should come over to see if there is anyway the can remedy the situation or see if they can retain the customer. They should also offer their apologies on behalf of the restaurant. I am a manager in health care and I am huge on customer service. If anyone complained on a service that we provided, I would be there personally to offer my apologies. If I am not in the building I would call them. The poor food and the poor customer service will not allow me to spend another dime in this restaurant and I would recommend that no one else does either.

Restaurant was not busy. Our waitress dropped off water and never came back After 10 to 15 minutes I had to go find someone to wait on us. She apologized said she was busy preparing a to go order. Took our order and brought the wrong side orders for our meals. She apologized again. We had to wait another 10 minutes to get our correct side orders. The restaurant was filthy. There was lettuce on the floor that didn’t get cleaned up untill much later. No visit from manager or no attempt by waitress to make our experience right. Just a bill for 2 adults and a child for $39. We didn’t know the total we’re $3 extra. Do not come with the burger. It is no wonder there were only about 3 tables if customers if this is the norm for service. $9 Wahlburger hambuy with no sides…not impressed.
