1st time hear. LOVE IT!!!! A real family owned Deli. Very rare these days. I had the #1 Sandwich..Turkey on thick Delicious Rosemary focaccia. It was great.
The place is very clean with huge selection of canned and bottled beverages. Also Beer and wine, also non alcohol beer and wine. A good selection of salads too.

Classic low key deli. Hidden gem of Alamo. Simple menu that is so delicious. I opt for the Turkey Club on Dutch Crunch and it’s phenomenal every single time.
The bread is chewy and holds together nicely, the turkey is fresh and delicious, and the veggies are crisp and refreshing.
Highly recommend!

Went towards the end of the day and they were out of most breads, but the brioche roll was delicious. Sandwich was customized but they have a lot of speciality options to choose from or make your own.

Alamo! What the hell’s in Alamo, I asked, and he yells out The Brass Bear Delicatessen! Then the little worm looks at me with one of those I told you so looks in his eyes and proclaims that The Brass Bear Deli is the best deli in the North Bay! So, after I gave him a quick geography lesson we went straight there. Half way through lunch he said…because he lives in Castroville everything north of San Jose is the North Bay!
The sandwiches were Amazing!

I decided to get my bike out and take a stroll. On my return, I decided to dine at The Brass Bear Delicatessen! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and clean. There is not a restroom for use, but 5 Guys is next door for cleaning services. I ordered the Bearwood and was very pleased with my sandwich. Fresh veggies, crisp pickles and the meat was packed on! Brass helped me finish my ride strong. If you are nearby, stop in and get a Bear sandwich. Lol.

It must’ve just opened recently, they don’t quite have there rhythm down yet, in the way of order, processing, serve. They were getting busy really helpful and polite. Took a bit to get the sandwich. I had a combo was really GOOD!. I’ll get again and definitely go back. But probably early or later than noonish. I think will do good, employee’s need better management.

Cleanest shop, super fresh ingredients, delicious every time! My family, friends, and I are Bay Area natives who have tried many places, but we always choose Brass Bear. We love this place and will continue to eat here for years to come.

This is one of my favorite sandwiches places in the east bay. I don’t like places that make crazy concoctions, I just like a good simple sandwich. They make traditional sandwiches, everything is fresh and generous serving sizes. The owner is great, he welcomes us every time we come in and always makes a point to talk to us.

Love the old-skool vibe and delicious food at this place. Here since 1980 and football lovers ta boot. I get a tasty turkey with the shredded lettuce. It’s like a time machine. Highly recommended!
