It appears to be the only Mexican restaurant in the area. There were a lot of people dining there. Friendly and good service. Chips and salsa were served right away. It was tasty.
However the meals were not as tasty as chips and salsa. It was very bland food. Trader Joe’s has better food than this restaurant. Maybe the restaurant is a chain and they provide ingredients. Food did not taste fresh to me. The price was higher than expected also. Again, good service and chips&salsa. Parking is available.

Good service but average food. Not too many good options in this small town so I did not have high expectations for this place. Ordered the taco salad with picadillo – it was very bland and flavorless but not terrible. The free salsa and chips were the best part of the meal.

Delicious food and great services! Kind ladies who worked there- they exceeded my service expectations. I asked for no dairy on my dish and the dish I received was divine!! (I lick my plate when I’m at home and wanted to do that here cuz I wanted to savor everything!!)

First off, excellent service. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the food. The steak is overcooked and dry. The rice is also overcooked and soft. The guacamole is bland. The ground beef is bland. The one nice thing is the picadillo or shredded beef which has been stewed to a soft fall apart consistency. Also great free chips and salsa.

The WORST dining experience I’ve ever had. (I know, this is Forks and believe me my expectations were quite low to begin with. I’ve lived in much smaller, more remote mountain towns than this and I’ve never had an experience this bad.) Upon being seated it was clear that this was not going to be a top notch meal, but I was expecting something edible, especially for $20 a plate. Rice was flavorless mush, the beans also bland and had more of a congealed jello-like texture. And the Chile Verde consisted of dry, gray, chewy chunks of pork and chunks of vegetables in green water. Far from anything that could be passed off as a salsa verde. My partner ordered a shrimp dish that appeared to be less of a food poisoning risk, but in keeping up with the theme of the restaurant had almost no discernible flavor. Based off my experience and the reviews of others they seem to be cutting corners everywhere they can from the quality of ingredients to the way meals are prepared (that pork had clearly spent hours in a warmer as it was served under 5 minutes after ordering). We walked out and found some reubens down the street for a lot less, with a much better atmosphere too.

What a great day!!! Stopped in Forks at noon. Search for a place to eat and find Plaza Jalisco. We have one in Tumwater. No more having to have a dry burger a block north. Sit down for a great meal while driving out to forks for work. Our server Corona, was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas with salsa verde if you love the taste of Jalapeños and a little heat.

The only good thing here is the free chips and salsa. Flautas and chimichangas are dry and flavorless; taquitos are so hard and chewy they’re inedible. Paid $22 for a platter of all of those and 2/3 of the plate is garbage cheddar cheese and chips…

Floors are dirty and the staff chatted with everyone on the other side of the restaurant (which is fine) but they kept forgetting us, which was annoying

8 years ago was my last trip to the Olympic Peninsula and I stopped in to the pink building and ordered the seafood chimichanga. Last weekend I placed the same order and it was as fantastic as before. Best Mexican food I’ve had in the State of Washington.

As vegans, we weren’t expecting much in Forks, but were really pleased. They have a separate vegetarian menu with options for vegan enchiladas or vegan wet burrito. Both were very satisfying. They weren’t just the regular items with stuff omitted. They were their own well thought out dishes with a variety of nutritious vegetables inside, like broccoli, carrots, peas, etc.

This was a perfectly nice meal, and quite healthy. Very large portion size. Not super spicy or award winning type Mexican food, but way better than expected. Highly recommend.

Overall, a decent meal that finished with disappointment when the check came. Three of us stopped in and ordered lunch portions, with water and two soft drinks. The food was simple but we remarked to each other that it had good flavor. Here comes the check and I had to do a double take. $54, including $4.50 for each soft drink (no, the price wasn’t listed on the menu for drinks). We then asked for some refills to go and I’ve never had a waitress look at me like I was asking for something so bizarre. She brought us one drink to go and made it seem like she was doing us a favor.
