We went for dinner once and we’re not impressed; however, their Sunday brunch is a much better experience. We met a group of friends for brunch after church and had a lovely meal. The table ordered fried shrimp, fried chicken, an omelet with grits, blueberry pancakes with bacon, and the Stanford combo breakfast and we all enjoyed our meals. The service could use improvement, but was much better than at dinnertime.

the restaurant was empty, yet my food took forever. My fries were cold upon arrival and so was my burger patty. I told the waitress about my fries & she said she would bring out more. She never brought out more & said it was because she figured I didn’t want them anymore because it had already taken so long. She told me that she would take off half of the price of my meal which was $15. I still ended up paying $17 for some reason.

BEAUTIFUL restaurant, but food is just ok. The bar was filled with yelling kids. Not sure why they allow toddlers to run around in the bar area, but it killed the vibe for sure. The spinach artichoke dip was the driest, unfavorable dip I’ve ever had. I should have known that if a place is nearly empty at dinner time, something isn’t right. Won’t be back.

I took my husband on Sat June 14th for an early Father’s Day meal. The Stanford Steakhouse is a gem, it is beautiful. Our waitress Hailey W from Greene Co was very attentive. I noticed about 10 employees sitting outside when they were on the clock but not our waitress nor the hostess.The bartender disappeared also. The two young gentlemen poured ice in the machine and one rubbed it around with his hands. There was no manager when I asked except for the kitchen. In my opinion hire a manager and less employees. The food was ok, the young man needs to learn how to cook a juicy steak though. Managers are to teach and you learn from them. My husband was upset also, he said he would come manage for free so the owner doesn’t lose more business. Hire people who want to work not sit around doing nothing while you pay them to work.

We were seated and waited over 15 minutes with no service. No one ever spoke to us other than the hostess that seated us. We were seated by the kitchen door and many people walked past us, no one ever stopping at our table. I stopped a waitress walking past us and told her no one had been to our table yet, or taken our drink order. She said “oh I’ll check on that for you” and never came back and still no one came to our table. A family that was seated after us had already been waited on and drinks brought to their table. We gave it a few more minutes and still no one came to our table. While we were walking out we were told by the hostess, im sorry someone was coming. We left with her still being the only one to speak to us, she was very friendly at our arrival and while seating us, and she apologized as we were leaving. That’s the only good thing that came from this experience!!

The food here is very delicious and we will most definitely become regular customers. I ordered our food curbside and the service was very fast too. The young lady that took my order was amazing and very friendly. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. If I could give this place 10 stars I would because it’s highly recommended. We ordered the fried crab claws, the chicken dinner, BBQ burger meal, loaded potatoes, fried okra, caesar salad, house salad, steak, and asparagus.

We decided to try this restaurant tonight. We had heard good reviews. We got seated right away but waited 10-15 before anyone took our drink order then waited another 10 min for those. We went ahead and ordered. We waited over 50 min for salads and never got our appetizers. Everyone around us was getting food. We were told many times they were busy. Then why did Everyone else get food? When we did finally get the food it was cold, the pasta had no flavor and the steak was cooked over done. We had already asked to speak to a manager. She never came out to speak with us. That’s bad service. If you don’t care enough to come out and see about the customers you don’t need to be a manager. Never again. First and last visit.

We apparently didn’t look the part. I was super excited to eat here and was let all the way down. We were seated immediately but a waitress was no where in sight. They waited on everyone around us before a waitress who says “someone else was supposed to wait on us came and got our order after about 30 min. It literally took us almost 25 min to get a glass of water. I ordered chicken Parmesan . The chicken was hard and the noodles were cold and my daughter ordered a burger that wasn’t done all the way. We will not be back. Very disappointing
