Came here with a friend. We both started with a lychee martini, which was really good (we even got 2). For an appetizer, we decided to go with the crab rangoon and the Bao buns. The crab rangoon was spot on and although the Bao buns were tasty, the meat was dry, which made the Bao buns hard to eat because the buns are also dry and meant to soak up juices from the meat, which the meat lacked.
Onto dinner, we both ordered the orange chicken. Where’s the sauce?? Another dry meal. I forgot to add a photo of it because we ended up just taking it to go. What a bummer because I really wanted to love this place.

My feelings about the SR are mixed. I had two great experiences last month, but last weekend things fell apart.
The wings tasted microwaves, last month they were perfect. The fried rice had protein of some substance last month, this month the pork fried rice had only four pieces and the shrimp fried rice had only three pieces of shrimp.
The service is always fantastic, but they need to iron out some clear issues, before I’ll return back.

Epic! The best Mongolian BBQ ever! The atmosphere is contemporary and fun, but the absolute best is CharChar!! BEST SERVER EVER! She was about of fun and truly made our night out. It was our first night here and we will definitely be back!

Everything we ate was delicious and the atmosphere inside was so nice and chill. There was quite a delay between small plates and large plates but I think that had to do with it getting a lot busier. Even on a Monday night it was very busy so definitely make a reservation for bigger groups!

I was recommended the Singapore Room by a local winemaker, and it was a great suggestion. The place has a great atmosphere and feels much more upscale than other Asian restaurants nearby. It’d be a great place for a nice evening out. The staff is friendly and professional, and I’d recommend a reservation. I was able to sit at the bar without a reservation luckily, and I enjoyed a cocktail called Foo Dog with my meal. It was delicious and used pandan leaf in its flavoring, which is pretty cool and unusual for this area. I tried the chengdu dumplings with pork fried rice, and both were excellent. The food is definitely a step above the other Asian restaurants nearby, and that fried rice might be the best I’ve had in a very long time. I’ll definitely have to bring my friends here if they come to Saugatuck. Visiting the Singapore Room was a great experience and I can’t recommend it enough.

We had a fantastic first experience at Singapore Room! The atmosphere and service was delightful, and the food was just so, so dialed in. The flavors were just so fantastic. I had the chicken coconut curry, and will literally never be able to have anything coconut ever again. Delicious. My wife had the garlic crab noodles and our friends had the dan dan noodles and the garlic prawns. Everything was just so good. Give it a shot!

We love this hidden gem. Asian food atypical to standard Asian fare. The ambiance is very comfy and cozy, with red lights and eastern design setting the mood. Excellent craft cocktails and the menu is unique with a plethora of Asian spices. Some favorites of ours include cocktails like the Black Manhattan with home made butter washed bourbon. If you are waiting for a table at some of the other great Saugy restaurants you should definitely wander into this new favorite. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing food! This is my new favorite restaurant in Michigan. We had the Thai wings, crab rangoons, and pork dumplings to start. They all had great flavor and quality. I had the chicken coconut curry with white rice. The best green curry I have ever had! There’s no way I can get curry this good from anywhere else! My boyfriend got the Dan Dan noodles and really liked it as he’s a fan of spice! Thank you! We will be back.

Saw the reviews and stopped on our way back to GR. Wow oh wow. People told the truth. This place is awesome. We shared the crab Rangoon’s, the garlic prawns and crab noodles. Plus ice cold beers. The prawns were HUGE and also tender, not rubbery. The crab noodles were not super heavy but bursting with flavor and crab. The place is very inviting and STEFANIE, our server, was terrific. We will be back because this place lived up to the reviews. Pls See photos.
