The landlord won’t replace the furnace so they are working with hats on and electric heaters running because it’s so cold in there!! The landlord hasn’t fixed the heat since December 21st of 2025. We placed our order on January 2nd. These people are amazing their food is always amazing their service is always amazing. It’s just a shame that they are being treated like this. Mai is a wonderful person that just wants to do her job the best she can and she’s wonderful at it and she makes wonderful friends while she does it and the food is always fresh and delicious and the portions are generous. It’s a shame that they have to work in these conditions!!

Never have I ever opened up a Chinese combination plate to see more white styrofoam than food. The portions are incredibly small and the food is cold and nasty. My husband and I ordered 2 combination plates for lunch with two appetizers. The place was completely empty and the customer service was not pleasant. We were told 10 minutes the food would be done. We got the food and ate 5 minutes later only to be shocked by the tablespoon portion of rice in each of our plates along with old, burnt looking chicken. The food was lukewarm and it’s very obvious that it’s not freshly cooked and appetizers were cold. The sauce that came with the scallion pancakes was pure water with a dab of brown coloring. To say they are at least reasonably priced would be a lie. They are expensive and serve old cold food with a not so pleasant demeanor. You will pay a good amount of money only to be hungry after. I ended up throwing out my plate and vowed never to eat there again.

Went today at lunch time, not a soul in there and we could hear them microwaving our food. Portions were so small , we got 1 scoop of rice. Needless to say we were still hungry after we finished our meals. It’s to bad cause the food was good but portions were stingy. Won’t be back

We always take out, only ate in once and oddly enough the food wasn’t as good as we usually find it. Very strange but that was probably about 8 years ago.
The food is always hot and ready when I arrive to pick up. We judge Asian restaurant by the quality of the crab Rangoon and fried rice. Usually both are delicious. It wasn’t as good this time. Maybe just an off day. We get take out here about once a month.

It saddens me that, after eight years of lowish priced, mediocre Chinese food I will have to find a new place to go. We had ordered, as we always do, similar food as a weekend treat. We order to pick it up. Delivery has never been an option as the woman tasked to this smokes heavily and frankly, I don’t want food I am going to eat in her car, hands or anyway near her.
I was tasked with the picking up. I arrive to find the food was $43.76. I did not place the order but that seemed a bit high for what we got. When I arrived home I of course asked why the food was so much? What did my wife order that was so expensive? It seems the Online menu prices are horribly lower than reality. My money is based on reality. What should have been $26. was now $43. I returned to inquire how this was. The 0wner(?) was angry at me the moment I walked in. I assume she knew why I had returned. As irritated as she was she did show me the bill on screen. All the items we ordered had increased tremendously. I understand that prices have gone up BUT the menu in the store (This is NOT a restaurant, it is more grimy and poorly lit than truck stops I have visited, heck, I got some the finest fried chicken at one in S.Carolina certainly not at Golden Leave) claims much lower prices. When I mentioned that the prices on the menu or online were lower I was yelled at “Those are the OLD prices!” My long time patronage had no sway, or influence.
The absolute worst part of this discussion was her foul mouth. I can not repeat what I was told here. I will have to learn to make my own greasy, undercooked food now.

Nasty food! My husband and I got a combination plate for a total of $28.++ the portion of food was the smallest i’ve ever seen. I ordered Pork fried rice, chicken wings and chicken chow mein. One small scoop of pork fried rice, it didn’t even fill the small section of the divided foam container it came in. It came with ONE chicken wing and it wasn’t fresh by far, perhaps they reheated it several times. The chicken chow mein was good except for the chow mein noodles, I counted them, 10 dry noodles. They gave us one duck sauce to share and it wasn’t even enough for one of us. I asked for extra and she looked at me and said we had pleanty and it would cost us more money. We left the food there on the table and walked out. NEVER EVER WILL WE GO BACK!

Always fresh produce, fish, scallops, shrimp, beef, pork, etc. Always cooked to perfection. The prices are fair, and your order will be ready very quickly. We have ordered here since they opened and were only disappointed a couple times when they forgot to put in the right number of their wonderful chicken wings
