The bisque had a smooth base but leaned watery, under-seasoned, and the cheese added in turned chewy and rubbery. The bread was extra, salty from the butter, and without lobster in the bowl, the dish lacked its centerpiece. But credit where it’s due — the Mango Cart on draft was fantastic. That pint saved the meal.”

Great place to eat or relax and have a drink before your flight or anytime. Patty is great and makes incredible cocktails

I had high hopes for this place. Its beautiful, very clean and well kept. But the food was lack luster. My “smash bugger” was just a burger and a very soggy bun with store bought frozen fries. Honestly the kinda food I’d expect from a fast food place. All in all very nice place but I’d pass on the burgers.

Several meals eaten and several enjoyable experiences. The staff is friendly, polite, and caring toward making the meal great. Cheerful is the way I’d describe it. Cozy fire, lots of TVs showing sports, yet a nice fancy feel to it. Plenty of food to choose from for low cost or as fancy a price as you want to get! Now I know why Mr. Chisholm held such high esteem amongst the prairie goers!

Food was good. The waiter on the other hand could get more familiar with the menu. He wasn’t sure if there was a sauce that came with the cauliflower, he had to go check. It was on the menu. He also told another table he wasn’t sure how to pronounce the steak “frite” on the menu. The customer educated him. Lol. When he dropped the receipt and card back after paying, he reached to the middle of the table and grabbed his tip that we snugged in the middle and walked away. No “have a good night”, “thank you”, nothing.

This place has truly upgraded the dining experience! Beautiful bar with lots of tap options, with marble surfaces and TV’s throughout. Dining area is open and beautifully renovated with skylights makes the room sparkle. The menu is electronic which makes browsing a lot more interesting. We were there for lunch sat at the bar, we were greeted upon entry, waited on with the right amount of attention. The meal was delightful and beautifully served. Chef James is a great addition to this hidden local gem! Can’t wait to check out the happy hour menu and cocktails! More to come!

I ate at Chisholms while on vacation in Wichita. My Meemaw had the eggplant stack because she is vegetarian and she struggled to finish it all. My brother had a ribeye that was cooked perfectly that he was very happy with. I had the roasted chicken, it was a little dry at the thinnest piece, but very juicy at the end. It was definitely better than Texas Roadhouse

Menu lacked choice. Pretty much meat. My Ribeye was great. AVOID the salmon. My wife could not even eat hers and left with nothing more than her dry Ceaser salad. Honey carrots seemed undercooked and hard. Ravioli was amazing. It took over an hour to get entrees. For us at $145 with $30 tip, it was the worst Valentines dinner ever.

The salmon was undercooked. They offered 20% off, but I still had to pay for a meal that wasn’t prepared properly. Pretty disappointing experience.
