Mexican cuisine consists of the cooking cuisines and traditions of the modern country of Mexico. Its earliest roots lie in Mesoamerican cuisine. Mexican cuisine ingredients and methods begin with the first agricultural communities such as the Olmec and Maya who domesticated maize, created the standard process of nixtamalization, and established their foodways. Successive waves of other Mesoamerican groups brought with them their cooking methods. These included: the Teotihuacanos, Toltec, Huastec, Zapotec, Mixtec, Otomi, Purépecha, Totonac, Mazatec, Mazahua, and Nahua. With the Mexica formation of the multi-ethnic Triple Alliance (Aztec Empire), culinary foodways became infused (Aztec cuisine).

I still have pictures of my Cinci de mayo experience, so although this is a late review I wanted to commend the staff of 2025 Cinco De Mayo. Upon our first visit, The space seemed smaller than average but the seating pattern seemed to fit a nice amount of patrons. Brightly and nicely decorated and well lit. It was a full house and we were still seated immediately. I tried the quesabirria tacos and although they weren’t the best I ever had, the meat was good and the plate fulfilling. I think the consome could use some tweaking and have overall more flavor. The Rice was cooked nicely with the refried beans being average. But the service on this hectic day was superb and multiple servers would check in and make sure we were alright. The margaritas were pretty good, I seen so many different drinks coming out. I would come back to try more food and different margaritas!

Hubby and I finally decided to come here. We wanted to wait til all the excitement died down to see if we would get not so heightened treatment for being a new establishment. This place did not disappoint from start to finish. The food was absolutely great. I am very picky with certain taste and textures and MI Tradicion did not fall at all. We will definitely be there again. You will not be disappointed.

Do yourself a favor and don’t order quesadillas from this place. They’re the worst I’ve ever had. I ordered quesadillas with grilled chicken and it seems like they didn’t even cut the chicken. I ordered them with cheese and they sent them with sour cream. They didn’t even send me utensils.Bad experience.

Great food and service. The portion size is so big and filling. The food is delicious and authentic. I love their chimichangas and the complimentary chips and salsa is really good. They have great lunch prices but for dinner the prices are very affordable for what you get. Would recommend. I would add photos but I didn’t leave anything on my plate.

We had an absolutely wonderful visit with our family of four. Had great portions and the stafd was so friendly and helpful. Just an all-around good experience. Our kids loved the chicken quesadilla and our chimichangas were delicious and crunchy.
