Great taco truck! I am trying every street taco in salem and this up there as one of the best! First, service was great. They were super nice and helpful when I ordered. The food was great too. Plenty of proteins and a nice flavor blend. Rice was fluffy and beans were good.

This is mexican style soul food to fuel mind and body. No matter what Don Chuy has smoking on his grill, you’re surely in for a good experience. I was lucky enough to get a mean order of pork ribs, brined and slow cooked to perfection. Despite being located at the intersection of two busy streets, we were not disturbed by any car traffic and during the lunch rush everyone had room to sit and enjoy their food.

Don Chuy’s Tacos is such a solid lunch spot. I’ve only been here during lunchtime, but the service is always quick and easy. Even if there are a few people ahead of you, the wait is usually around 10 minutes, super manageable if you’re on a break or just want something quick and tasty.
The prices are super reasonable, and most importantly, the flavor is there. Highly recommend the burritos, they’re packed and super satisfying. Definitely try them with their guacamole salsa and a little red salsa if you’re in the mood for a spicy kick. Not their spiciest, but I’m a mild kind of gal, so it’s the perfect balance for me.
The staff is always kind and down for a little chat, which makes the experience even better. Just one of those spots that feels local, flavorful, and consistent. Definitely a go-to if you’re in the area and craving something good.
