The drive there was long and relaxing, full of our lands natural beauty. The restaurant is remodeled and looks very nice, plenty of seating. The vibe there is extremely laid back, and all the locals gather and have some interesting conversations. I was a little bummed to find out they didn’t do breakfast all day, (stops at 10:45 am, I believe.) I will say I have had the catering prior to my visit and it was wonderful fried chicken along with the fantastic cheese cakes!

Nice country diner attached to a bar. As the name suggests it was a gas station at one time as well. Always friendly people working there. Only negative, it’s off the beaten path, but that adds to its charm. Last time in, I had breakfast and the portions were big, with perfectly cooked hash browns.

BEST fried chicken around!
We dine regularly at the Fill Inn Station. When it came time to choose a caterer for our wedding we didn’t even think to shop around, The Fill Inn was our go to. We had the most beautiful charcuterie board set up as an appetizer. Our fried chicken and roast beef dinner was 10/10. We still have family and friends talk about how good our wedding food was. The girls are also wonderful to work with! Highly recommend for any casual dining experience or wedding caterer!

First of all it is definitely a family restaurant!! Kids everywhere. Personally I love it. They also had the basketball game on!
Most importantly, the food was awesome. You HAVE to get a dessert. Even if you get take out!
The server was wonderful. She was soooo busy and still did a great job!!!

They have awesome food and ice cream here. They’ve always had good food and I think it’s gotten better since new owners have it. They took the bar away which created more seating for dine in. They serve pizza to go plus a full menu. They only have 4 or 5 kinds of soda on tap but they offer a large selection of canned soda.

Called to place a to go order at 7 and was put on hold for over 45 minutes, with it being past 7:45 and then not having time to cook before close I gave up. Extremely disappointed.

I tried The Fill Inn in the first place because my friends and family recommended it, it was also local. This business has also been there for many nights after basketball and football games. I am qualified to write this review because I have been to many homestyle restaurants. I have been going to The Old Fill Inn for 10+ years. I go here at least 4-5 times a month. I also know many workers there. My family and I have had many family gatherings and just dinners with friends here.
I recommend this product for many reasons. First because the staff is amazing. Every time I go in there they remember my whole family’s names. They are always so kind, caring, and friendly. They will always stay and have a good conversation with you. They also check up on you to make sure everything is good. They are also very quick, never an empty drink at your table.Reason two why I recommend The Old Fill Inn is because they have many options. From chicken strips to cheesecake they have so much variety. In the summer my dad loves to get catfish fritters and the rest of the family enjoys other types of fish. On nights with my great grandma when she didn’t want to cook we would enjoy the fried chicken dinner with our family.
They also have homemade desserts like cheesecake in various flavors, ice cream, ice cream cakes, and pies. Which you can place orders and have written on if you would like. If you have an event you would like to have their food at, they cater as well. Finally I would like to recommend The Fill In for any ones who needs a quick dinner. You can call ahead and get to-go orders. There have been many nights after long days of work and sports where we have picked up pizza for quick dinners or got to-go.
