This is my go to chinese food place!! Lots of food for cheap prices, the food is delicious and hits the spot, lots of options.. The workers here are really sweet, they will treat you with kindness. I remember one of the workers asking about my graduation snd craft projects, as well as the nice conversation we had.
I also love the milk tea here. The spring rolls are SO flaky and good, and the crab rangoons are chefs kiss. My school ordered from here to eat, they all loved it. (The people who did get food from here.)
Definitely recommend!!

Great food and good prices! Quick and easy for takeout or delivery. They have many different Asian cuisine options, including some Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes. I got a menu in the mail and wanted to check them out since I live nearby. I was feeling adventurous and ordered some things that I don’t normally order. I tried the Chow Foon noodles, which are like large, wide, flat noodles. They were tasty! I also got the Thai Spicy Fried Rice which was super flavorful. My husband ordered their Basil Tofu dish and was really happy with it. Good sauce and generous portions. We will definitely be ordering from here again, they have lots of other menu items that I look forward to eatting. Very happy with this place and glad it’s in my neighborhood!

Delivery time was very quick! (30 min on a friday night) the pricing for the quality is perfect. They give you big beef teriyaki and the chicken fingers are full of chicken and not just batter. They use good cuts of pork for the boneless spareribs so they aren’t super fatty and gross. The sauce on the orange chicken was thick enough to get a nice coating but not so thick that it gets gross when it cools just a little bit. The egg roll was a good size and was still crispy. Very happy with our order, it tasted awesome and can’t beat the price. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Worst service ever. I placed an order for delivery and after 50 mins of waiting i called to see what was the hold up. They said its busy and will take longer but assured me the food was being made in the kitchen. 30 mins later i called again and was told the same thing and that he has no idea when my food will be ready and that theres “50 people in the lobby waiting for orders” even tho at this point i ordered my food an hour and a half ago. It does not take this long to make and deliver food. I never got my food. Never was delivered no call to tell me they wont deliver my order and no refund. Place is a joke.

I visited this location under a different name a few years ago and it was bad. Noticed new name and new menu and figured I’d give it a try. Tried the Thai fried rice and veggie lo mein. It was delicious and great quality! Now my new favorite spot! Saved some for lunch at work the next day…tasted even better!

Ordered two meals. One was salty, but somewhat manageable.
The other? Inedible.
Salty and dry chicken chow mein but with no chicken and some sort of clear plastic gelatin that was in it. I’ll try to post a picture. It was vile.

Grossest Chinese food in Haverhill. I just ordered over $50. Yes fifty U.S dollars on this so-called food. No flavor. Undercooked. Highly saturated in oil. That’s everything they offer. Just oil. Very nauseating. I thought this place would be better than Sky Dragon- but it’s WORSE. A PuPu platter shouldn’t arrive looking like someone spilled a cup of oil in the box. The crab rangoons should actually finish frying before serving. The fried rice should be fresh not sitting around for days- then combine new and old rice together. This cannot be sanitary. Very very nasty. Shame on the city of Haverhill for letting businesses like this reopen under a new name. Just to go on another 20 something years serving mediocre and sickening food. Make up your own minds- tell me I’m lying. Go check for yourself.

Was looking forward to trying this place out. Crab ragoons are great, lo-mein is good. However, I ordered house fried rice. I specified no white rice and if he can make fried rice. He said yea.. well it’s not like the typical fried rice and very mushy. Why the minus 2 stars considering I spent about 60 bucks here and was disappointed when I got home to eat.

I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and went to pick it up. Got home and found out it was shrimp and not chicken. When I called they did not believe me and wanted me to go back and return it to prove it to them. First time trying them and will never go back.

90+% Of Chinese restaurants in Eastern MA have the same menu, differing only in number of different dishes offered but sometimes with a few different twists. So I rate those that do have the same menu primarily on preparation, service and cost. The Gourmet House has a few twists that are nice. For example, my son ordered his standard orange chicken and liked the ‘3 course meal’ provided: chicken, rice and choice of appetizer (he took the BBQ ribs). Well prepared. Our orders of standard appetizers: Peking Ravioli, Crab Rangoon, Pork Goyza and a Pupu Platter were standard, but all were well prepared and enjoyable (Crab Rangoon a little too sweet). This was a take-out and the order was ready on time. Worth the price. All-in-all, enjoyable.
