Great food, my favorite is the chaufa. The passion fruit juice was fresh and sweet. Very warm lady with a sweet smile. Large portions, one plate was enough for two people, highly recommend.

One of the easiest 5-stars I’ve ever given. When I ordered, I was told that the Empanadas would take another 10 or so minutes to finish. Worth. Every. Second. Light, crispy, flakey, both the vegetarian and traditional were completely amazing. I also ordered the Vegetarian Mushroom sandwich and the Loma Saltado and both were hot, savory, flavorful & worth every cent.

Can’t wait to come back for that turkey leg! … I ate the food too fast and forgot to take pictures. I’m absolutely coming back.

Edit: here’s the pictures. Exactly as fantastic as it was when I originally posted. Get the Loma Saltado.

Very friendly service and the food was delicious. I had the Lomo Saltado and there was a healthy amount of the tender flavorful steak with a good serving of rice and well balanced amount of veggies and fries where most places would load you up on those and skimp on the meat. I also tried the golden soda which was comparable to the best cream soda I have ever had. They give you a pager so you can wait in your vehicle, which is nice because we are in the northwest and it was pretty chilly when I went

I had the classic Peruvian Chinese fusion noodle dish, Tallarin Saltado which was very good and a generous portion giving me leftovers for the next day!

We ate the food too quickly to manage any photos. We had the Chimmichurri fries, the mushroom and tofu platter and some mashed savory plantains. It was all vegan and made gluten free for us. The proprietor even uses completely different pots and utensils for zero cross-contamination. My favorite was the platter. The rocoto sauce and Chimmichurri were delightful! I’m looking forward to trying the fried yucca next and the owner told me that she can veganize more dishes if there’s interest!

I’m so lucky to come across with Rocoto Peruvian Kitchen while visiting Oregon for the first time. This place deserves to keep its 5 stars!

This is the first place I have came to the same food truck/restaurant for the second time in the same week, as a San Franciscan foodie, this place is top notch and you won’t find his food anywhere else, I made sure to come back and get his chicharrón sandwich before leaving from Oregon. You can tell how every appetizer and entry meals are made carefully with love, the lomo saltado and the chicharrón melts in your mouth as well as his alfajores cookies, everything is made by the owner. I will recommend you to drink his natural drinks, sadly when I came he didn’t have chicha but I will make sure to give it a try when I come back since you can only try this type of drink in South America.

I’m sure this place will innovate and expand in the near future, you can smell, taste and see his passion and love in his food. I hope I can see his business around in San Francisco.

Excellent food! The owner has a passion for the food and it comes through. He has separated cooking areas and pans to prepare all of the vegan dishes.
