Reviews
Kokiku serves consistently fresh fish at a really fair price. They also have Lunch Special is a great deal, also have happy hour 15%off on everything from 5pm-6.30pm, and the staff is always welcoming and fast. It’s clean, cozy, and reliable. Highly recommend the special fish Nigiri always fresh and high quality. A total hidden gem!
They just opened, but the quality of their fish is top notch—everything from Uni to Toro was incredibly fresh. The chefs, especially Chef Adi and Chef Iwan, are fantastic! They guide you through the menu and make the experience even better.
This place is truly a hidden gem! Not many people know about it yet, but I hope everyone gets a chance to try it. Our server was also awesome, and the service was impeccable. On top of that, all the sauces are house-made, and even the desserts are crafted in-house.
Highly recommend KoKiKu! We will definitely be back soon!
The sashimi was unbelievably fresh ! Each bite practically melted in my mouth . The wasabi was also exceptional—unlike the harsh, overpowering kind many restaurants use, this one retained its unique fragrance, perfectly enhancing the flavor of the fish
The takoyaki was spot-on authentic, with generous chunks of octopus inside. It was delicious and, for the price, a total must-try!
The edamame was topped with a mildly spicy sauce ️ that really stimulated the appetite
The Salmon Teriyaki Plate was seasoned just right—the sauce was flavorful but not overpowering, and the fish was tender, not dry . Paired with white rice, it was simply amazing!
The ramen had a well-balanced broth—not too salty, not too spicy—with a beautiful color . The chashu was delicious, but for me, the portion of noodles was a bit much, so I couldn’t finish it .
Although it takes almost an hour to drive here from our home, it was definitely worth it! ✨
As someone with Japanese heritage (my grandfather was Japanese ) and having grown up in Taiwan , I was so thrilled to find such delicious and affordable Japanese food here in the U.S. It truly made my day! ✨
Very clean and good mixture of modern and traditional Japanese vibe.
One bad thing is there’s only one bathroom. So u might have to wait if the place gets packed.
Now to the food…. they use real Wasabi, so that’s a big plus.. so many places use powder these days but not here. Chicken karaage is amazing(5/5). Green mussels was a bit heavy on the dressing but still good.4/5 shrimp tempura was great as well. These are the thin tempuras btw. (5/5)
Ramen… now as much as I enjoyed the well textured (cooked) noodles and great pork bites…it was too salty. Bamboo strips were way too salty to eat it by themselves. (3.5/5)
Lunch special chicken tempura w ca roll and sp tuna roll.( 5/5) good price w good portion… it’s not a lot but more than enough for a special.
Overall it’s def a place to check it out if u enjoy japanese food.
