The reviews were right: the food is really good. We ordered the eggplant tofu, the drunken noodles, and the red curry. You can choose what level of spice you want from no spice up to Thai spicy ️ so we chose a different spice level for each dish. Everything we ordered was tasty and flavorful and the portions are pretty decent and good for sharing. My favorite dish was the eggplant tofu (med spice) and I don’t even like eggplant!
This was our first time eating there and we had a nice experience. The food was tasty, the waitress was nice and accommodating, and the restaurant had a good atmosphere and nice music. We would go again and try out some of the other dishes.

What a great place to eat and a local gem! Great service, delicious food with some unique dishes that are a must try, and quality fresh ingredients you can taste.
Lots of parking, a few other stores to visit before or after you have your meal. Also, the staff was very friendly and attentive with quick service. Clean restaurant and a very well laid out setting with lots of space and not crammed.

Both locations of The Coconut have the best Thai food in Sacramento. It’s classic/delicious. We got the pumpkin curry and pad thai you can’t really go wrong.

Hidden gem in Eas Sac! Fresh and delicious Thai food, in generous portions!
The environment was clean and inviting. The server was extremely personable… I highly recommend this restaurant. NOTE: They could use a few A Frame signs at the major cross street and out front… the location is obscure.

Omg!!! The best curry dishes at this beautiful mom and pop restaurant. The food was so fresh and chicken tasted amazing. The service was the best and the owner is so nice and kind. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to eat real good Thai food.

Ordered drunken noodles last night and the tofu was so chewy my jaw aches. I’ve been to 4 of their locations. If you want great drunken noodles do not visit this one. Visit the original location in midtown or the Reno, NV location. Those are incredible.

Came here because it was the only Thai restaurant open at the time in all of the Sacramento area. They were nice, fast, and the food was delicious. I’m glad they dont close for a few hours like most places.

The coconut is the best Thai food in Sac no questions asked. This particular spot had great service, no wait, and a cool vibe. Plates are actually pretty big so I’d recommend sharing something unless you’re going for a hearty meal.
Bonus: the yellow avacado curry is bomb and full of energy

The service here was no good. I placed an order for pick up and when I walked in to get it the person at the front would not even look at me. Then I realized I hadn’t received any utensils so I asked for some and she slammed the fork down on the counter. I took my items and quietly left. I would understand if they were busy but there were a total of 4 people in the entire restaurant who had already been served. I worked food service at one point so I always do my best to be respectful and kind because I know they go through a lot. However, that kind of treatment is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place at all. Go to Thai Canteen or Thai House Restaurant instead. There’s better service and the food tastes more fresh.

Awesome Thai food! Had cheese wontons w/ sweet chili sauce, pot stickers, and padd Thai chicken with the spice tray. All were excellent and our entire group loved it. Highly recommend.
