We were fortunate to get a table on a busy evening. The waitress was quick to take drink orders, provide menus, bring drinks and take our orders.
Then things moved slowly.
It took a very long time for the appetizer, Chili Thai Shrimp.
This dish was excellent. The right mix of hot and sweet.
My spouse had haddock tacos which he finished before my seared scallops were served. The waitress apologized for entering my order incorrectly and compensated us for the mix up. Worth another try on a less busy night if only for the Chili Thai Shrimp.

What a lovely experience! Very much dive-bar vibes with charming decor and great service! Our waitress was so kind and friendly. Food came out quickly and hot! The fried pickles are HUGE and you can tell the pickles are homemade. The burger was delicious too! Great beer prices as well.

Laughable service and flavorless food. We were ignored for 20 minutes and then waited another 15-20 just for water and menus. In Saint George, we’ve had much better experiences at the Causeway and Happy Clam for meals. The Black Harpoon was a one and done for everyone in our group.

This is a significant local spot. Indoor and outdoor dinning depending on weather. The large bar area has lobster trap bouy markers hanging from the ceiling. A sports, news, entertainment bar area. A full bar with several beers on tap. If you ask for a Margarita they will likely ask if you have a tequila preference and you’ll have several choices straight out of Margaritaville even if it is over a thousand miles away. The ocean and light house are just down the street and your table neighbors may be lobstermen, artists, small distillers, writers, retired CEOs or very senior judges who I refuse to identify.

Met out of town friends for dinner. Kids could run around, climb on the boulders and not bother anyone as we were sitting outside with other families with kids. Food was excellent!! They were busy, but were able to keep up with the demand. Guys played pool and the girls caught up. Everyone happy.

What a gem. Staying near by and stopped in for something quick, and ended up have a very nice blackened fish, lobster chowder and a local beer. Food was spot on. Was not expecting it to be as good as it was for a little location out here. Would definitely come back.

I’m out of town from Colorado, have friends at Tenants Harbor so this was my first time eating here. Best fish tacos I ever had, atmosphere and the bar were awesome. The only reason this place didn’t get five stars was because there was zero help and long wait times. My waitress was fantastic and super nice but you could tell she was super frustrated. I know she’ll like the tips at the end of her day but we waited a very long time for our bill which was unacceptable. I know it’s hard to find help, it’s like that everywhere but adding one more person would have made the difference.
