This is a review of the golf course. Nice old school 9 holes.l (1924). The first 3 holes lull you to sleep, then #4 is a tough par 3, then the rest of holes go up and down hills and valleys. Holes #4, #7 and #8 are good holes.

Quiet friday evening fish fry special. Had the fish and shrimp dinner, it was good, tenderloin dinner very nice and tender. Old fashions were excellent. Nice visit there. We would take the drive back again another day.

Food is good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and welcoming, even though we weren’t locals, which is always nice! Appetizer and main dishes were brought out quickly (though it was a very quiet night, only a handful of customers). Haven’t golfed here so I can’t rate that, but I would recommend stopping here for food.

Great stop for a round. For a 9 hole course, this was a very interesting play. The first about 5 holes felt a lot of back and forth but the remaining holes changed that view. Greens were in spectacular shape and rolled all over. Many holes had pretty challenging positions. Course cut well, fairways and rough tended to well, etc. I was very surprised at the quality for a norther kind of city course; wasnt the easiest to play. If it wasnt SO hot the day I played, I wouldve done 18 just to round again to know the course a bit. Staff were superb…very small town atmosphere. Nothing for a pro shop. UT they did have a logo ball. Rates were not bad at all for this course. Great stop for a round.

Wing’s good, but small . All you can eat wings, but t could not get another order as they disappeared. It would have taken them to long to make more. So finally got the check and left. Definitely do not get your money’s worth for what you pay for. Also the prices were not what was on my phone

Was good overall, course in very good shape and challenging for this 18 handicapper. lol. The only issue was checking in when it was very busy, we had to wait for carts to come in off the course, it was during Ashley for the Arts so a lot of extra people trying to slip in a 9 or 18. All good though.

The decor makes you feel like you stepped into a time machine. Was recently told itd be 15 minutes before our food was ready. Arrived 20 minutes after ordering to pick up the food. Waited 45 minutes to get the food. Then they forgot our salads. As well as our order of broiled fish being cold.

I visit here with co-workers every Wednesday for wings and they are delicious. Their fries are unique as well. The staff is very nice and always checking on us.

I was there for a Bridal shower. The catering people, that the club uses, was amazing. They did a beautiful job of displaying the lunch setup. Everyone, especially our waitress, made it a perfect.
