The food here is amazing! I got Jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and peas. I also got a curry chicken patty. Everything was delicious and the staff was nice and the environment was cool too. They didn’t have Mac and cheese or yams but I’ll be returning to try more items on the menu

4/28/25 Update
Was a little disappointed today. They ran out of my favorite dish here chicken and rice and peas. This is a FIRST for the rice and peas . I’ll extend some grace.
The brown stew chicken was good but I really did miss my jerk chicken ( sigh)

I’m obsessed with this place. I’m back again today.Ox tails, Rice & peas & cabbage on deck. .

Have made several attempts lately to patronize other local caribbean establishments but nothing to date measures up to the food here.
Honestly, I think I might be done getting my feeling hurt ( and wasting $$) trying other places in this area.
Best Taste Caribbean has NEVER disappointed

This is hands down some of the best and most authentic Caribbean food I have had out of South Jersey to date!

The oxtails and jerk chicken reminds me of the food we had the little time we were in Jamaica. Consistently Delicious!
It was so good I did a yelp and Facebook review also.Yeah it was really that good I MO!

Definitely put them on your bucket list. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was AMAZING! I had ordered the Brown Stew Chicken (MED), Rice & Peas, and Cabbage. The portions were perfect (for me), the establishment was quiet and clean, the lady at the front was kind, and I got my food within 15 minutes of ordering it, and it was also super hot, which is always great, especially if you’re taking it to-go. Finding parking was easy, but maybe because of the time I went. Overall, I would go here again! 🙂

Was looking forward to the food after seeing the reviews. Ordered a medium brown stew chicken. Wanted candied yams and was told they didn’t have them. Asked for Mac and cheese and was told they didn’t have that either. Settled for cabbage which was ok. The brown stew chicken didn’t taste like brown stew chicken. It lacked flavor and tasted like regular baked chicken. It wasn’t nasty but it didn’t cure my craving for brown stew chicken. All in all I was disappointed and I won’t be back. Service was good as was the atmosphere. Establishment looked very clean and I liked the fact that it was spacious and had ample seating.*edit Since having eaten at this establishment and having the owner having seemingly having taken offense at my review. I will say I’ve been eating “authentic Jamaican food for over 20 years” I have eaten at over 20 Jamaican establishments and myself is also a chef who specializes in cooking Jamaican cuisine. I tried to be very honest and fair in my review but as far as the criticism and the fact that the owner stating that I ate more than half the platter I stated in my review that the food wasn’t nasty. Also I paid my hard earned money for said food so why would I waste it? Again I said the brown stew chicken that I received didn’t taste like brown stew chicken but more like baked chicken. It wasn’t nasty but it also didn’t quell my craving for brown stew chicken. As I said before I’m actually a chef and my own brown stew chicken is world’s apart from the brown stew chicken that I received since your establishment can’t seem to take a positive and honest review. I’ve cooked for over 20 years and what I will tell you is one your open your entire menu should be available. Í wanted Mac and cheese and candied yams and neither was available to me despite it being lunch time and after 2pm in the afternoon. Maybe instead of being so defensive next time you’ll actually take the time to listen to a paying customer and improve upon your shortcomings as opposed to being defensive. By the way Jamaic’s and Ignite brown stew chicken was much better since you claim I don’t know what authentic Jamaican cuisine taste like.

Originally went for the jerk chicken however they were out and I got the Oxtail, with rice & peas, a patty with little jerk sauce on the side. Everything I had was flavorful, the large serving was plentiful. I definitely recommend this spot!
