El Mama offers a nice and calm atmosphere with tasteful, understated decoration that makes it comfortable to sit and enjoy the meal without distraction.
We ordered the veal ribs and a ribeye cooked medium rare. Both were prepared very well. The ribeye was cooked accurately to temperature, tender, and flavorful. Srrvice staff very friendly and attentive. The veal ribs were equally satisfying, with good texture and strong taste.

Everything was perfect!
Super fast service, delicious food and the surprise!!!
We even didn’t book the table. But the waitress asked if one of us had a birthday. So they gave the dessert with a candle and the song for our son as a present for his birthday. He didn’t expect this and was very pleasantly surprised.
This is our second visit. We will come back for sure!

This is our 2nd time here!!! We absolutely love the food and vibe of this place. The spareribs are really delicious. The staffs are very kind. Also, they gave us free iced coffee. We will surely come back here. ❤️

I don’t think we will be coming back.
Why?
Place is super crowded and atmosphere feels like fast food place. You can’t leave your coat anywhere. You can barely move or sit comfortably.
We had an reservation (made it 10 days upfront). When we arrived (exa5on time), host offer was: do you want to sit outside? He? What? Really???!!Temperature outside 8 oC, rainy, windy.. after some discussion he gave us “the best place”. Literally on the entrance. Where door was more open than closed. It did feel as you were sitting outside 🙁
At some point it did feel as they have more stuff than people in the restaurant. Even then, we had to wait 50 minutes for the food.
Spare ribs are ok, but not fantastic.
I ordered “Hot”, but it was barely spicy.
You get one paper and one wet napkin, you don’t get any gloves, so count that your hands will get dirty.
When we finished the food, we just went to another place.
For the same price we could better go to “fancy” restaurant.
Disappointed.

Just decided to go here out of the blue and we loved every moment of it. Their meats were flavorful, tender and they had satisfying sides. We also had a dessert for two, were they turned the lights down and sang happy birthday for my daughter. It’s a very relaxed and friendly setting with lovely music. It was worth a visit.

What a great surprise to have found this cozy and friendly restaurant. I really enjoyed a great meal, wonderful service and very clean and spacious place to enjoy my visit. .
Unexpectedly before I left, I’ve got deserts & a small drink from the house. That’s an experience I’ve never had before.
I ordered:
Sweet spareribs, strawberry margarita and everything was just delicious.
After giving the order, it took less than 12 minutes to receive the meals, so that’s a great service one can expect when ordering spareribs.
The tables are very spacious and comfortable.
All and all, I hope the waiters and chefs receive a decent salary for doing and providing such a great service.
I really recommend this restaurant. You will like it a lot.

We were three people dining at El Mamma BBQ in The Hague. We were very pleased with the taste of the food, the service, and the overall ambiance. We ordered the classic burger, the chicken burger, and the Caesar salad. The only point we were not fully satisfied with was that, although the classic burger and the chicken burger are the same price, the chicken burger felt weaker in terms of ingredients. I still give a full rating, but I believe the restaurant should review this aspect. I definitely recommend it.

Just order with your eyes closed. Good atmosphere and service as wel they gave us a sweet coffee cream at the end.

Everything was delicious and we really enjoyed the burgers. The meat is excellent and there are three types of burgers on the menu.
What I’d improve:
1. Offer more topping options for burgers like blue cheese.

This is my 8th time in 3 weeks going to this restaurant and I can’t get enough of the food there. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it all tastes wonderful.
The service there is also exceptional and very friendly people.
Will be going there soon again before heading back home.
