Absolutely delicious! The man working the register and I think also making all the food himself was so kind and friendly. He also waited our table which I was very surprised about! He was very informative when we told him it was our first time and he’s a lovely conversation. But then he also gave us our quality time with just our table. 10/10 highly recommend just for him. The birria tacos street style were delicious. And they have specials everyday I believe except Sunday. Very good traditional and modern Mexican. They even serve tamales! Which I was so excited to see. It is a bit small. So groups of 1-3 is probably best.

I went there for take out, I ordered birria taco combo. So I got 3 tacos, beans and rice. I also ordered a piece of flan. I paid like 25 bucks, for very mediocre food. The tacos were just ok. Nothing to bring me back. The rice and beans were not good at all, like they have been sitting in the fridge for a week. I couldn’t even eat it. The flan…. my white daughter makes it better. The texture was way off, and the flavor was not very good either. Which is unfortunate because that is one of my favorite things. I would not go out of your way to visit. The restaurant is cute, the woman who waited on me was decent. Took my order, then went and got it ready herself. I was just very disappointed in the quality. I feel like the food they are serving is just very old. I understand trying to use to stock, but there is a shelf life… and this food tasted and felt past it’s time. Will not be going back. Id rather go to taco bell, and I hate that place.

Not sure what happened with those who left a 2. This is authentic Mexican food with American style options I can only guess that the 2’s ate American style at a real Mexican food provider. We ordered a variety of tacos and carne asada burrito. Everything was spot on delicious.
It’s a small restaurant in a strip mall. The atmosphere reminded me of places in El Paso. I can’t really eat atmosphere so it’s not a big deal to me.
BEST taco/burrito place in Brighton. If you have never been, you gotta go.

Just stopped into Happy Taco for a photo shoot and owner Santiago and his associates were awesome, friendly, and quick to please. A variety of food was made for the shoot and it all looked delicious. Was able to sample the Pizza Birria and it was pretty good.
I also got to take out a Quesadilla Fajita and it was absolutely filled with meat, spicy and very delicious!
If you’re in Brighton and want to try a different Mexican place, this business is pretty new so give them a shot!

You have one shot to impress me! I actually gave Happy Taco two opportunities before I decided to write this review.
Atmosphere: MUSIC IS TOO LOUD!! The place is small and you can’t have a conversation with your friends or family. Definitely need a fountain drink station!
Need curtains as the sun was blinding as you sit and eat at the window table.
Service: This was the best quality about Happy taco. Both times the service was good and definitely have a friendly staff.
Food: First time I got Birria tacos. The tacos themselves were definitely subpar and the Consommé was lukewarm. Really disappointed as this is one of my favorite dishes at Mexican restaurants.
2nd Time I got 3 tacos with rice and beans.
Both side dishes were cold! I can’t imagine anyone enjoying cold rice and cold beans. The beans had great flavor however I couldn’t eat them cold.
My tacos were good however nothing to brag about.
For the price I’ll probably not go back. I have no problem paying $18 if my meal was really good. I’ll come back in a few months and see if Happy Taco is reading these reviews and make the appropriate changes.

The food was absolutely amazing! Super authentic, the meat was super moist and the tamale I had was top notch! I will be coming back to this restaurant frequently! The service was 10/10 they seemed like they loved what they did and were happy to be there! Thank you so much for the experience.

The gentleman at the counter was very polite. I got to birria tacos, and I told him to surprise me with a third one, and he gave me an El Pastore, which is actually my favorite kind of taco. The green sauce was unbelievably very good, very citrusy very very very good. It was very nice. I sat down and ate and it was out in like five minutes and he brought it to the table which was awesome. I wish that I got a side of chips and salsa I for sure will next. I also wish that they had the consummate to go with the birria tacos. I don’t know if that was an option to add onto it. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.
