First time visit to The Cove.
AJ was great company.
Atmosphere is beach/bay vibes but with a touch of night life class. Food was great and the burger was huge.
We will be back to enjoy the outdoor seating and live music for sure.

I heard about this place and I couldn’t wait to try it out. One of our friends lives in the neighborhood and she really recommended it. I invited some of my coworkers over and we had a blast. The outside had a real nice feel. It almost feels like we were down the ocean. The food was very delicious and the service was great. We will definitely come back.

The Cove Restaurant is Lit!!!! I love it there. It’s on the water, reasonably priced food and friendly atmosphere. Since I live around the corner, 1 mile away it’s my local favorite. You meet new friends there and see old ones. There is live music at times. Parking is good and it’s sort of a private street so minimum traffic is always good. I always tell my friends and they return again and again. Very friendly owner and chef. I really recommend this safe gem away from the noise.

Very nice place. Drinks were good, great bartender. The drink prices were good for the area. We didn’t order food, what we saw coming out of the kitchen looked great, especially the burgers. But the food was a little pricey, so we skipped the meal this time. But we’d definitely go back.

I feel like this may be the next it place in the area. Lots of good vibes with plenty of space outside and inside. The service was exceptional and homely if that makes sense. I got the grilled octopus app and chicken ceaser sandwich as an entree. The octopus was delicious perfect but a bit overcooked. The sandwich was perfect and a perfect portion. I will definitely be back! This was on a slow Wednesday night. They do have a stage for live music so I’m sure if that’s your vibe you’d also enjoy this.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. The Peruvian roasted chicken was incredible, perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. It’s easily one of the best meals I’ve had during all my work trips. The potatoes and green beans paired perfectly with it, comforting and delicious. My two coworkers went with the jambalaya and really enjoyed theirs as well, but I’m a chicken guy through and through.

What really makes this place special is the passion behind it. I had a chance to talk with the owner, and it’s obvious how much heart and dedication he’s put into the restaurant. You can genuinely taste that level of care in the food.

If you’re nearby, definitely stop in and support this local spot. It’s absolutely worth it.

Tried this place on a Friday early evening. Food was good, tried a few things, the wings were very good, baked/dry rub type thing(ordered hot), calamari was good, crispy, a little plain, but with sauce was better; bang bang shrimp was nice, sauce is great, also got Maryland crab soup which was pretty good but missing a little more flavor, needs old bay for a good kick, also noticed that it had no potatoes, so if you like it without potatoes there it is. Overall nice atmosphere, like the decor, there’s an outdoor space in the sand going out to the water. They have life music on certain days so definitely worth checking out.

The Cove recently opened near our home on Millers Island so we have been excited to check it out!
Our first try was a couple of Wednesdays ago since it is “Locals Night” but unfortunately was a bust; they were closed! So bummed. We ended up heading there rather late on a Saturday night in early June. Knowing that the restaurant only recently opened, we were prepared to experience a few hiccups.
We love the decor: a large wall behind the stage area features a huge mural of the Francis Scott Key bridge which was infamously knocked down by a container ship in March of 2024, making it very near and dear to the hearts of Baltimoreans near and far. The vibe is comfortable and relaxed featuring mood lighting, some industrial lighting (paying homage to the area’s history of once being the location of Bethlehem Steel, perhaps?) and warm wood accents. There a large indoor dining area where the large bar is located, as well as outdoor seating on the water.
Our server seemed new ( disorganized and forgetful) but very nice. Everything was slow: service, drinks and food.
Two of us tried the $12 oranges crush buckets which did not disappoint. A glass of resulting and a beer rounded out the drinks.
We started with 2 orders of wings. They were crispy, as requested, but they seemed to be heavily spiced and floured, which the buffalo sauce was then poured over. Not my favorite way for them to be prepared but still tasty.
My entree was Bang Bang shrimp which we very good but could have come with a lot more lettuce if they were trying to replicate the original dish.
My husband got their double cheese burger which seemed to be a frozen patty on a fresh roll with typical fixings. It came with fries which were just ok.
The other couple ordered the crab cake sandwich. They found it to have a nice flavor but there was a lot of filler.
We are looking forward returning again in the near future, during the day to see how this new business is faring. Can’t wait to try out Locals Day specials (15% off up to $30) or Happy Hour.
There isn’t any access by boat yet. There are plans to get the cove area dredged and the pier repaired sometime next year which will definitely allow more patrons to visit.
