Was looking for something different than just burgers. Found this little place on the internet. A couple of miles off the interstate but on the main road. Chicken livers and red beans and rice were excellent! Not everyone can cook livers properly! Clean eating area and restrooms. Great prices! Staff very nice. Will visit again when traveling through!

Fish was really good, spicy, but too salty. The sides for a family pack, were same size as for individual.Beans & rice taste like it came out of a can, and the corn didn’t even have any flavor or butter. Corn tasted like water. It was a bit more expensive than it should have been, but the portion size of the fish was adequate. I could have spent the same amout of money down the street and have gotten all I can eat with a complete buffet.

This place is literally HEAVEN!!! all the food is cooked to perfection it’s not bland and these people love to cook you can taste it. They are also pretty quick for the food they have on the menu and are wonderful people. I cant find a taste like this anywhere else cause I’ve eaten here now lol.

Attempted to get food from this place. Kept on hold on the phone two separate times for 18 and 15 minutes after being told: “can you hold on a minute” and didn’t let me get a word in, then apparently forgot someone was waiting on the phone. Went to the actual restaurant, stood in line for 15 minutes. No one looked at us, tried to take our order. The two women up front seemed to not understand the concept of “quick” or “efficient” and did not seem to know how to properly use their POS system (which looked to be new). The manager was rude to them, did not address any of us waiting just for our orders to be taken. There seemed to be no communication between the people working up front. The inside of the building looks old, run down, and not clean (my feet were sticking to the floor). I have worked in food service and this place made me never want to eat there. We left without ordering anything and I’m glad. I will never try to get anything from there.
And I saw, during the time of covid, one of the ladies working up front lick her finger to open a plastic bag to put someone’s order in. You, first of all, work in food service and should be wearing a mask. Second, you don’t lick you finger and then do ANYTHING except wash your hands when you work with food.

I was staying in town for a week working on the road. This place so far I’ve ate at for four days in a row. TheI food is amazing and I won’t ever complain. I would recommend the Jumbo shrimp with green beans and macaroni cheese and also the Philly cheese steak!

Real Leary about trying. customer service was great and sign has one price and charged way more than advertised. Food fair! And they do not refund the over charging!
