We got there an about 15 minutes before our reservation but had to wait more than 30 minutes for our table. We went to the bar outside and got cocktails that ALL tasted like juice. My spicy margarita was definitely spicy but absolutely no alcohol, just pure lime taste. But being that we are outside on a rooftop – not much of a view but regardless seeking to make the best of it.
We sit down and get complementary champagne for the long wait- very thoughtful on their part. Our waiter Dayana was very sweet, a bit forgetful but still very friendly and informative. We placed our main dish orders- and for the most part everything was yummy.
The loud music was a bit overwhelming.. I guess I’m getting old that it was becoming annoying.. we had to shout to get any conversation going. The music was only English hits mix – no Latin music at all..
I probably wouldn’t come back to this place as nothing made it stand out.. not even a good spot to go and get a drink as there is not really a view of anything. I’m glad I went and experienced it but didn’t catch my interest at all. I did like the whole concept of the phones to be placed separately but with the very loud music it was extremely difficult to get words across. The place is beautifully decorated and the candle lights all around make the decor feel homey.
We ordered a variety of dishes: oxtail tacos, Cesar salad, ragu pappardelle, truffle linguine, and the Limoncello spritz to drink. Everything was flavorful and well-executed.
The pastas were rich and comforting—the ragu pappardelle with its slow-braised beef short rib was a standout, and the truffle linguine had that perfect earthy depth without being overwhelming.
The oxtail tacos were tender and packed with taste, and the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. The Limoncello spritz was refreshing and the ideal companion on a Miami evening.
For dessert, we went with the build-your-own brownie, which hit the sweet spot perfectly—it wasn’t overly sweet or heavy at all, just balanced and satisfying.
One thing I really appreciated was the portion sizes. The plates look elegant and not massive, but they’re incredibly fulfilling. We were glad we didn’t over-order thinking it wouldn’t be enough—the food left us comfortably full without feeling stuffed.
Our server, Franchesca, was outstanding. She took the time to guide us through the menu, explaining the nuances of each dish with genuine enthusiasm. She was also super thoughtful, offering hand sanitizer right away since we were diving into some finger foods (those tacos!). It was a nice touch that made us feel cared for.
On a side note, the music remixes playing were upbeat and fun, perfectly complementing the rooftop vibe with that iconic Miami skyline in the background.
Overall, this place nails the fusion of international flavors, generous (yet not overwhelming) portions, and top-notch service. Highly recommend for a date night or group dinner!
if not the best, server we have had in a long time. I cant talk enough about what a great night we had!
We came to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday, and another native highly recommended Dolores (but you can call me Lolita) for the Oxtail Tacos I’d been craving — and they did not disappoint! The tacos were tender, flavorful, and absolutely worth the hype.
I also ordered the Lobster Bisque, and the way they served it was such a cool and creative touch.
Our servers Tania and Diana, along with the host Pamela, were all amazing — friendly, attentive, and full of great energy. I highly recommend asking for any of them when you visit!
The atmosphere was upscale yet casual, with a beautiful, modern aesthetic and plenty of photo-worthy spots. Perfect for a night out, celebrations, or just treating yourself to something special.
Highly recommend this place — you’ll love it!
