I’ve always ate at the original one in Tyler but this was on our route going through Lindale. So glad we stopped, we got the #7 and #9 and they were so freaking good!!!! Thanks El Lugar for the awesome lunch

When the food makes me dance in my seat you know it’s good!! That’s exactly how it is when I eat here. The service and food are excellent at Taqueria El Lugar. Tito is the best, top notch customer service for sure, He’s so kind. We love the number 7 with beef. The food is always fresh, and so delicious. My family and I will never tire of this place. We love it. I highly recommend you try this place. But may I suggest you wear elastic waist pants as you will get waaay full.

This place is the BOMB.COM! Fresh food, made hot to order. It is hard to find a bite to eat now days that is not the gross fast food (that is all fake food anyways)! They are fast when making the food, the customer service is always extremely pleasant. Please stop by and have a bite to eat!!!

First time here and it was excelente. There was a little bit of a way, it was okay as the food is so good. We got the Street fries with chorizo. Fresh yummy goodness. Will be back, again, again, again, again you get the point.

Maybe it was just a bad or tough day, unfortunately this restaurant was not the best experience. The food was certainly fresh just not as described we felt. We were the only diners in the restaurant for a late lunch and it took over 30 minutes to receive any food. We felt the person we ordered from answered my questions unkindly. The menu is great, and it was very clean so it’s of course possible it was a bad day there is all.

Had to see what all the fuss about and why there were two 1 star reviews for Taquiera El Lugar. Got the chicken fajitas today for lunch. Got red and green salsa or sauce not gonna start that debate…
The 1 order of fajitas made 3 very big fajitas filled with very tender marinated chicken, sauteed peppers amd onions on what surely were homemade tortillas.
Our order took maybe 10 minutes.
The red and green sauce sure had a kick but that’s what i personally want to pour atop my fajita. Definately too hot for most people I would assume so use a little for added flavor.
Will definately be back!

I love eating at these restaurants but the prices keep going up. I remember when it was $4.50 for a #7 but now it is $9. Prices are getting to the point that I can no longer afford to eat here. Wish they would come down on their prices some. It might drum up a few more customers.
