Staff really nice. Overall food is good jerk chicken is well seasoned. Rice isn’t mushy. Cabbage was bland and too crunchy but when I warm my leftovers I can amend that. They forgot my Mac and cheese that I paid extra for but I will be back. I did call to let them know it wasn’t included the lady remembered me and too my information to replace it on my next visit.

I’m so confused by the good reviews. Like did they have an off day or is everybody else trippin? Had to throw it out. Jerk chicken was dry and unseasoned. Jerk sauce tasted like ketchup and vinegar (and didn’t look like jerk at all). Rice and peas was so dry I choked. How can rice and peas be dry??? Cabbage was really bad, just like someone washed off a head of cabbage, chopped it up and served it. Felt like a bait and switch based off of all the praise. My meal also looked nothing like everybody else’s pictures.

Hands down the best #Jamaican restaurant in Central Jersey. Just ordered goat soup, brown stew chicken, and a slice of pudding. Almost anything you feel nostalgic about in Jamaican cuisine, they have it – run dung, ackee and pork etc

The food here is Amazing! I had the stew chicken with carrots rice and beans and mac and cheese. The portions are filling and it’s in a great location, plenty of parking. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Sorry about the pic, I took a few bites.

This is hands down the best Caribbean food I have had outside of being in the Caribbean. The salt fish fritters (bacalitos) are the best I have ever had .. so flavorful! Highly recommended and good portions !!!!

Rarely leave reviews but I feel compelled. The food was outstanding. Portions are hearty and leave plenty left over for a second meal.

I will most definitely be making this a weekly stop.

Had a great lunch here today–fried chicken, a chicken patty, and rice and peas. Nothing complicated.

I chose this restaurant to cater an end-of-school year party for my student group at an area university. The food was fresh, expertly seasoned and delicious. The students loved the food and several people asked where the food was from. I returned the next day to get my own dinner. The owners are also friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the curried chicken and jerk chicken patties.
