The Saccomanno family has been well known over the years for bringing authentic Italian cuisine to the community inspired by Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. With a masterfully crafted lunch menu and a sprawling catering offering, the Arthur Avenue Deli is a mouthwatering stop in Putnam County. Add to that a wide variety of classic Italian cured meats, fresh mozzarella, and fresh bread, you’ll feel like you’re back in the old country! This is a good Italian deli. Nice selection inside. The staff is always friendly. Their sandwiches are good especially chicken cutlet, no matter what’s on it. I would recommend.

I had my daughter’s 2nd birthday party catered by Arthur Ave Deli, and the food was absolutely amazing. Guests kept asking where everything was from, and I received multiple texts afterward saying how great the food was. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Went here for the first time today and got the best panini I’ve ever had. I think to call it a deli misrepresents what to expect walking in. The space is big, roomy, and meticulously kept. Everyone behind the counter was happy, friendly, and helpful. They have freezers full of every ravioli you can think of (I can’t wait to try mine), imported Italian groceries, ready to go options like soups and sauces, and a case full of tons of amazing looking options. I got the “yo cuz” panini which was absolutely incredible! They have tables and chairs so you can eat inside. I know this is a small thing but they brought the sandwiches right over to the table on beautiful dishes – which was such a classy touch. The prices are incredibly fair as well. I usually go to A&S because that’s the best place I could find in the area. Arthur Ave deli beats them in price and quality. Do yourself a favor and give them a try – thank me later. Also, don’t skip the mini cannolis on the counter. Just as good as my Nonnas!

Honestly one of, if not the best delis in Westchester (or NYC for that matter). The food is fresh, flavorful, and plain old excellent! Their service is beyond wonderful. Hell, I even asked them if they could make a muffuletta like the New Orleans’ Italians used to (I guess still do)… They looked it up and made one better than I remember them being!
