We had a great breakfast here. They were extremely busy, and we know why. The food was amazing. The bagels are authentic and any way you decide to do them will be really good. Wr highly recommend this place for a nice breakfast with a very nice staff. If it’s nice out you can eat outside , which is really nice.

There have been several attempts to open bagel shops in the area, but none of them seem to hang around for one reason or another. I hope these folks enjoy a long life in Swansboro. We ordered combo breakfasts, and they have several types of bagels and ingredients to choose from. I ordered the Taylor Ham on my ham/egg/cheese instead of the regular ham slices because that’s what i was used to up north. I was not disappointed. It brought back memories. They were putting bagels out fresh while we were there. I was really tempted to try a few more. We’ll be back!

Quiet morning visit for what I was told some amazing bagels. I ordered a simple one, toasted with cream cheese. Expensive! Server at counter seemed bothered, like I was interrupting something. I was the only customer at the time.
While dining in, some frequent customers arrived and counter person was friendly but young person in back seemed to be doing most of the work. I don’t intend on patronizing here again.
Per the owners mention, I did not say whether I liked it or not…. obviously it didn’t strike my fancy enough, nor did the staff and atmosphere make me wish to return. The bagel is a New York style, which is different from other bagel stores in our area. I liked it, but again, not enough to return.
I am pleased that a customer service staff is great if you know her. I like to spend my $$$ with mom & pop establishments that realized great customer service should extend to all patrons.

I have been to Giovanni’s a few times over the past year or so, my previous experiences were not the best. While the food was terrific, the lady at the front desk (Tori), was a nightmare. She was rude and always saying nasty things about the other employees and management. She was always setting a bad tone. I went in this week for the first time in a little while. Tori is gone and the atmosphere is 100% better! The staff and management are all happy and very friendly! Smiling and interacting with everyone that walked through the door. The bagels even seem better than ever! I cannot say enough good things about the recent changes! The entire environment is amazing! It even seems so much cleaner and less cluttered! Great job on the updates and taking out the trash!
