Perfect dive bar.
Cheap drinks (tap beer was $4.50 a mug), gambling machines, dice behind the bar for games, tables, clean bathrooms, plenty of tvs for sport games, a fun local way to “roll the dice” on how much you pay for your tab, and allows smoking.
I was just passing through for medicine bow and the hot springs but this place was perfect.

A decent place to get some cheap beers and hang out. They will have some live music from time to time. Nothing really to eat here as far as kitchen-prepped food, but they do have snack bags. It look living here for several years and a change in bartenders to finally feel welcome here. It is a good place for tourists who enjoy the mounted animals and sweet mountain lion scene right above the bar. However, this is definitely a place of locals. The biggest drawback for me is that I do not smoke, and this place does allow smoking in the bar. I think it is great that there is a place in town that the smokers have to be able to smoke inside without needing to leave the building. This is just a personal thing for me. Overall, a decent place and a bar that I take friends and family who come to visit me.

Great atmosphere. It’s a smoky bar so if you’re not into that stay away. Interesting mounts representative of the local wildlife but they’re a little old. Bartenders are great. Could be considered a dive bar.

This is an interesting place. There are mountain lions mounted behind the bar which looks like a museum piece. This alone is worth a stop and Gander even if you’re not having a beer. There’s also live music on Fridays and a nice relaxing atmosphere.
