We were originally supposed to be spending the night in York, but our hotel cancelled within a week of the date. Instead, we decided to visit the Sheffield Christmas Market, which turned out to be a lovely change of plan.
We then went to Chef Sami, and it was absolutely amazing. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were just as delicious. Chef Sami personally cooked the steak and brought it to our table, which was a really nice touch.
Highly recommended, we would definitely return. We’ve already recommended it to many friends and family, and even to my own customers too.

This is undoubtedly the best Sheffield has to offer in steak (as well as its camembert starter). It also has great service and an environment which is whatever you want it to be. Some of our party were formally dressed and others smart casual. Everyone is welcome (everyone who knows a good steak). Sami’s not only beats Miller and Carter, but its Wagyu beats Gordon Ramsey’s in that place they call London. We opted for the best wine and it didn’t disappoint. Not one dish fell below our high expectations and the staff and chef were excellent.

We tried for the first time at this new restaurant in ecclesall road, We found fantastic staff and food!
We went on Sunday 30th November for the first time, we were in 3 and got as starters 2 baked camembert and beef short ribs, as main we had a ribeye steak medium rare and a tomahawk medium rare with diane sause, peppercorns sause and blue cheese sauce, as sides 2 new potatoes and franch fries.
It has been an explosion of tastes, the camembert was so good and the short ribs were so soft to melt in the mouth, the stakes were good really well and were so tasty! Definitely the best steakhouse in Sheffield! We cannot wait to go back!

they were absolutely amazing you can truly taste what a real steak should be like here. The décor and bar are stunning and add a touch of luxury to the experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and a big thanks to Chef Sami whose passion shows in every dish. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Came here for my wifes birthday.
The service was impeccable, nothing was to much hassle.
The food was incredible, cooked to perfection. These people want to be proud of their restaurant.
And to make it better, when they found out it was her birthday, they brought her desert out with a flare and a candle and played music for her.
All i can say is thankyou and will see you again.

Came here for a meal recently which was absolutely excellent. Service was brilliant with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ordered the fillet steak, triple cooked chips and pepper corn sauce which was fantastic. Could not find fault in anything, will definitely be returning again soon and would highly recommend to everybody.

As soon as we entered we felt welcomed by Ebi who served us and got us all we needed, big smile on his face and chatted throughout felt like home. Everything from the food to the service was spot on. You can feel the pride the team takes in creating such perfectly seasoned, flavourful dishes. Would highly recommend and will be back! Thank you so much to you all, one of the best steakhouses Ive been too.

By far and away the best steakhouse in the city. Me and my partner enjoyed the Tomahawk sharer, with the prawns and short rib to start. All the food, from start to finish, was incredible. The prawns were succulent, the short rib melted in the mouth and the Tomahawk was like butter. Perfectly cooked, with brilliant sides to accompany.
The waiter Ebi was sublime. He was attentive, warm and friendly throughout the night. Chef Sami made an appearance to talk through his methods and his story, and was a genuinely wonderful man to speak to.
I cannot recommend this place any higher. If you go anywhere in Sheffield, go here.

I had to try the A5 Wagyu and it was phenomenal. The flavours of everything we had, down to the chips and tenderstem broccoli were amazing.
The service was brilliant, and chef Sami even brought our steak out to us.
Its a very small menu and small restaurant but thats how you know your getting top food.
The best steak I’ve ever had.
Will definitely be returning.
