My hubby and I had breakfast at The Flip Side Restaurant this morning, and let me tell you… it did not disappoint. ☕
Scott built his own omelette with cheese, sausage, spinach, and mushrooms. It was huge, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Benny bowl with no meat, tomatoes, and spinach. It came with diced potatoes and two eggs, and it was so good I couldn’t even finish it all. And can we talk about the rye toast? Thick, hearty, and toasted perfectly. Just the way it should be.
The staff was wonderful, super friendly, and very attentive, checking on us often without hovering. Overall, it was a great experience and a place we’ll definitely be going back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid, satisfying breakfast spot. ️✨

Absolutely one of my all time favorite places to get breakfast. Amazing service, incredible portions and unbelievable prices! Highly recommend the bacon dippers!!! Staff is so kind and the atmosphere is very calm

Incredible, thoughtful service and friendly atmosphere. THEY HAVE SO MANY GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS **AND** A DEDICATED GLUTEN-FREE GRIDDLE. Truly a hidden gem, I wish I were a local so I could come back again and again. It’s rare when gluten-free options taste like the real deal and the GF pancakes were amazing.

Tried out the place once, and is my new favorite breakfast spot in Laconia. Everything we got tasted great. Prices were good, and staff was friendly. Super impressed with their premium coffee they serve! We didn’t know what to make of the atmosphere peeking inside while deciding where to go for breakfast, it had a cafeteria/commercial office space look. Stepping inside they have a gorgeous live–edge bar, and plenty of room for large parties. Extra space meant it was less noisy than most diners so we were able to comfortably have conversation.

I love the concept of this restaurant, and since people with special needs have a special place in my heart, naturally, I drive out of my way to eat here while visiting New Hampshire. The people are friendly, the portions are generous, and the price is fair. If you have an ability to eat more than the average person, there is a crazy food challenge where you can win a free meal and a tee shirt. Good luck, tho because it’s an obscene amount of food!!! Keep up the food work and thank you for helping the most incredible people in the world.

This was our first time and we can’t wait to go back! Our food was so yummy (side note: the gluten free pancakes are made on a designated griddle and are fluffy and delicious!!). My bacon was crispy and coffee was hot! The bathroom was super clean and the staff was friendly!
My only complaint was so that it was SO cold in the building. But! I just drank more coffee to warm me up. 🙂

Our family of 8 came in for a delicious breakfast the morning before my recently passed Uncle’s funeral. The food was tasty but the service really brought us a lot of laughter and joy. Our servers were great – when we learned about the mission of the restaurant, we were doubly impressed.

This restaurant is one of the best in the area. It is very open and spacious so you dont feel crowded. The service is fantastic. The food is very good. They specialize in breakfast / lunch but they are open Friday nights for Prime Rib and Haddock. I definitely recommend checking it out.

I called around the Tilton Belmont Loudon Laconia area and very few restaurants use real butter for cooking any more except Flip Side! Real flavor real ingredients. Good portion size. Super friendly staff. I am a chef, restaurant owner and harsh critic. Just know it takes the same effort to do a bad job compared to doing a good job and this restaurant does things right!
In addition, We personally like the big open concept because our kids can be kids there.

The Flip Side is one of those places that just feels like home. The staff treats you like family—warm, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. The food is consistently good with hearty portions that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank. Our family especially loves the chicken and waffles. It’s a go-to favorite that never misses.
