WAKE UP AND VISIT ADDISON CAFE… I am from Europe and was looking for a Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant in Dallas. But it doesn’t exist. However I found this little gem founded in 1981, which was a total delight. Snails (Escargot), onion soup, halibut and chocolate mousse. And even the rose on the table was real. Please visit – promise it is worth it. ❤️❤️❤️

Enjoyed an early dinner just as it opened at 5pm. The staff was very attentive and the food was exactly what I hoped it would be, GOOD to the last bite! The selection of wines was fabulous also. I will return whenever I get a chance to travel this way again.

Great Neighborhood Restaurant Specializing in French Cuisine at a Reasonable Price. Service was friendly and very professional. Atmosphere was conducive to romantic meals, gatherings of friends, as well as business. Food was on par with some of the other fine French Restaurants in Dallas. Highly recommend giving them a try.

More than casual yet less than fancy. It’s hard to get overwhelmed by the lax and friendly atmosphere here at the French Bistro/ Addison Cafe.

How do I give this place 0 stars? They deserve it.

Walk in, and a little Hispanic guy eyes us up and down and asks for a reservation. I look around and the place is half empty, so I think there shouldn’t be a problem.

Tell him we do not have one and he proceeds to tell me they are fully booked for lunch and without a reservation we will not be able to get a table…

Okay…

So, I walk out to my car, get on open table and surprise, surprise there are reservations available every 15 mins from now until two when their lunch service is over. I proceed to book three of them…

So, this man looked us up and down and decided he just did not want us in his restaurant. I am traveling and in khaki shorts and a polo…

We go down the street to a much nicer restaurant, Remington’s, and were treated with the respect customers actually deserve.

There is no way I would ever return to this “cafe” or recommend it to anyone.

Y’all! This place is authentic and so classic, everything was fantastic, there should be a line out the door to get in! The food was amazing, the service was great (very personable), and I loved the old school fine dining ambiance! If I live in Dallas (I live in Georgia) this would be a staple in our rotation for great meals!
