Such a cute place!! Service is always amazing, food is always delicious. Went in Saturday for the lunch special and got the $15 sushi/sashimi combo, ( such a good price!! ) didn’t expect it to come out on a little bridge and it totally made my day. Not to mention, the selection of sashimi was absolutely delicious and extremely fresh. I wish more people would give this place a try!!

Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had! Our server was very friendly. Our food was done quickly. Very clean space. If we lived in the area we would definitely be frequent customers. It was the best meal of our vacation.

Ordered 4 special rolls and some edamame to go for my mom and myself. We got the Dragon roll, Dragon King roll, Michigan roll, and the Monkey roll. I’m not sure we got what we ordered, though, as one with salmon on top was spicy (none of our orders were spicy) and one had a sweet yellow sauce on top. Well, whatever we got, we enjoyed. Picked up during off hours so it was enough except for the family, including 2 adorable young boys. Would return, and next time eat in the restaurant during dinner time. Maybe in the upstairs area. Tip- the Monkey roll is not on their menu, only listed online for take out orders.

Kiwami is a great place to get Japanese food. Their sushi is fresh and delicious, and the presentation is immaculate. Highly recommend their poke bowls, too.

The atmosphere was fairly classy but still very casual. The service was prompt and pleasant. We were not overly impressed by any of the dishes we tried, but it was okay for the area if you don’t want to drive to GR. The edamame was good, the sashimi and ramen were not the best, but the presentation of the food was very cool. It doesn’t quite measure up the standards of big city cuisine, but it is worth a visit if you don’t like food that has an abundance of seasoning.

Ordered takeout from here- everything was delicious, fresh, and really well priced. One of the few sushi places in West Michigan I trust!

Absolutely amazing! The service was great and the food was even better! My husband and I ordered the gyoza, the volcano roll and the snow roll. The gyoza had the perfect crispy bottom with the soft steamed top. I am usually not a huge fan of fried rolls, but the tempura breading on the snow roll was light and perfect!

Presentation is A+. The bento boxes and serving trays are plastic rather than lacquered wood if you are really critical, but look at the photos, they look great and it’s more sanitary that way anyways. The presentation of the sushi/sashimi dishes are number 1! I had the “Sushi Sashimi for 1” (pictured), and for $24 it is an amazing deal! Our waiter was fantastic, very attentive, not overbearing, and very understanding. If you like sushi, give Kiwami a shot, it’s pretty good compared to other lakeshore area options and one of only two I’m aware of that offers sit down service with wait staff. (FYI they do not have a liquor license).

Everything is awesome. Food presentation, service and taste of food . Though the restaurant is small in size food service and taste is like five star restaurants with budget friendly pricing. Japanese ramen noodles is our favorite.
