We were looking for a Ramen restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and our usual spot was packed, we decided to look for another place and Neko Sushi&Thai was nearby. Amazing decision! The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by Banks, our server, there was no wait time, the drinks and food were amazing, and she was regularly checking in on us to make sure we were okay. I asked the staff for a dessert to celebrate my friend’s bday, and I told them anything but chocolate. They came out with mochis and a candle! We loved this place, affordable, cozy, friendly staff. Shout out to the sushi chefs also, la comida estuvo al 100! We’re definitely making this place one of our top 3 spots! Thank you all so much!

The sauce they use for their egg rolls are delicious. Their sushi is also delicious. Unfortunately I had to give 3 stars because I was not really feeling their basil chicken. It definitely lacked some flavor. Would come back for their sushi.

I recently ordered from this place for the first time because I wanted to try something new, and I’m thrilled! I was craving ramen, and this one definitely exceeded my expectations. It was rich, full of flavor, and perfectly spicy—just the way I like it. They were also very generous with the meat.

Besides the ramen, I ordered takoyaki, and it was delicious! But let’s be honest—when is takoyaki not perfect?

All in all, I’ll be ordering my ramen and takoyaki from here from now on. My local spot just doesn’t meet the criteria anymore.

Great addition to the Jefferson Park neighborhood. We’ve ordered carryout several times and our selections have been delicious. The flavors are on point. Looking forward to trying their sushi next time. Tried a couple rolls today. Wow, they were so fresh and delicious .

This place just opened two weeks ago, and after driving by my friends and I decided to stop here for dinner. The prices were on par with other Asian fusion restaurants we frequent in neighborhoods like Lincoln Park or Bucktown, and the portions were WAY BETTER! The Thai Iced Tea in particular was so flavorful unlike the watered down versions you’ll find at some places.

The dragon sushi roll and takoyaki tasted so fresh and delicious. The pad Thai and fried rice were great too, and we had plenty of leftovers. Service was fast and friendly. My friends and I will absolutely be coming back here again!

Great spot! Spicy Garlic Miso Ramen wasn’t really my taste there. As well as the karaage. But it is a fusion restaurant so I didn’t expect a lot! Other than that. My friends sushi was alright! Good spot.

Pleasantly surprised at how great the food is at Neko. Very nice and helpful server. I ordered the Lunch Pad Thai which was served hot with a perfect blend of spices. They are BYOB which made for a reasonable spend. Plenty of street parking at the lunch hour. Place is small but we noticed plenty of take out/pick up orders. Will definitely revisit for their sushi which looked great too.

Softshell crab was a 10/10. Sushi was good and beautifully presented. Waitress was so so sweet. I’d become a regular here if I lived in the area.

My wife & I picked up sushi and pad Thai to-go. The pad Thai was so very flavorful with somewhat sweet noodles. The sushi order was large enough that we got a large container with a beautiful presentation. We loved all the rolls we had, including OMG, Don’t make me cry, and Godzilla. The prices were reasonable for Chicago, and we got a free shrimp roll included because the order was over $50.

Although we didn’t dine in, the interior is intimate and cutesy with the Asian cat art all over the place.

So happy to have found this place! Gem. They only opened 4 weeks ago and I know they’ll be around for a long time.

Everything was great. The gyoza, poke bowl, sushi and Thai iced tea were perfect.

One of the best Thai iced teas and Tom Kar coconut soup I’ve ever had.

The price/bill was so reasonable. We split it and it was $30 per person.

It’s is a very small space so I would recommend going on off times. We weny on Saturday at 5pm and it was comfortable.
