Taco Giro delivers. Great food, great service. lt has been a few months since I’ve been to the GV location. I felt terrible to see this wonderful restaurant in the news recently. I do believe we need to support local businesses- especially during the tough times
Our server Nallely was exceptional! Great energy, she was very sweet. There was a small delay in getting our food out, and she kindly told us of the delay because of a large party in the private dining room. It wasn’t a big deal as we weren’t in a hurry. I had the chicken enchiladas Rojas plate, and my friend had the grilled fish taco plate. Both very good. What sets Taco Giro apart is their specialty cocktails and vast menu. Our server even brought us a free chocolate dessert. It’s a restaurant that is consistent and delicious! Thanks for a nice meal!

It was mine and my Husband’s first time here! It was just amazing… percent authentic Sonoran Mexican food! We live in Green Valley and this place is in no comparison to the other Mexican Restaurants near by. Their menu is so expansive and have elaborate cocktails and a great bar! Nallely was amazing at her job and provided excellent service! She made me a lavender limeade and it was delicious! I ordered the pazole and my Husband ordered the Chorizo breakfast burrito ! And their home made flan… Yum yum yum!

Quite an interesting menu! First time this past week. The service was excellent. The food came in a timely manner. The plate was large.
Everything was quite good from the salsa to the steak. My lady’s only complaint was the refried beans were “watered down”. Naturally, I was hungry and forgot to take a picture! We both had the carne asada plate. Good choice!

Our server, Dulce, was terrific. The food is quite good and the serving sizes generous. There is better Mexican food in Green Valley. Normally, I would have given the atmosphere 4 stars, but we were seated near the bar and their blender was deafening. Our conversation had to pause each time they made a blended drink. I’ll wait for a table in another area if needed.

I should’ve listened to the other bad reviews because they were right. The service here is TERRIBLE! We were seated quickly then waited for a good 15 minutes for the waitress (I use this term lightly) to finally come. We ordered our meal and drinks and never received our drinks and had to ask her 3 times, the third time was after our meal was served. The cops and salsa are a joke too. The chips are in a very small bowl (barely enough for one) and the salsa is in a small container a little larger than a shot glass. When our meal arrived both of them were cold (burrito Majados) which tells me they’re microwaving them and our waitress never once came back to check on us or even fill our drinks. There was no excuse because she was also serving the tables on both sides of us.
The food was super salty, dry and bland tasting and there’s no silverware provided except for a fork. How do they expect you to cut your food without a knife? The owner obviously doesn’t care about his customers because if he did, he would take the time to read the comments he would properly train his staff. It’s too bad because we’re not snowbirds we’re full time residents and

Taco Giro was a great experience not just a restaurant. They’ll make guac right at your table. Staff was all very friendly. Plenty of vegan options or they can make them vegan. Drinks were good. Food was great, so great I forgot to get the pics Highly recommend my vegan friends to try this location.

Came here for my birthday and has the best experience. Our server, Nayeli was just truly so lovely. She was attentive, patient, kind, and so very sweet and helpful. This has been one of our favorite restaurants ever since it opened. I always struggle to pick something on the menu because there are so many good options. The ambience is nice and we love the outdoor seating when the weather allows. Nice view of the golf course and Santa Ritas. Service is great and we’ve normally been able to get seated right away and food comes out fast. Highly recommend. Nallely took excellent care of us!
