Read good reviews about this restaurant, and the food did not disappoint. Pad kee Mao was very tasty, and good portion size. Not cheap (Thai food tends to skew a bit higher than Chinese), but worth the price overall – you know its a good restaurant when even their cheaper menu items are high quality.
Ambience is average though, so not the best place for a sitdown meal. Occasionally understaffed, but low wait times regardless.
Highly recommend the curry fried rice (even the regular fried rice is tasty and serves a massive portion) and the roasted chili stir fry

I had a very pleasant experience at thai fusion. I ordered the pad see ew and it did not disappoint. It had decent portions and had a sweet flavor with decent sized portions. The older gentlemen who took my order was very kind and made my meal surprisingly fast. Definitely will come back to try spicy thai curry!

Thai Fusion is a hidden gem of Champaign Urbana. This family owned establishment managed to capture the hearts of all students here at UICU. So much so that they have expanded to a second location inside the heart of the union. My boyfriend and I love coming here and will always return.

The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked noodles, great balance of sweetness and tang, and really fresh ingredients. The portion was generous and the flavors were spot on. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

I was taken by surprise with the quality and taste of the food here at Thai Fusion. The lady taking our order was very pleasant and helpful in explaining the dishes. The food portions were great and the heat levels were just right. I have had a lot of good Thai food but this was top level. Curry Fried Rice with Beef and Pad Ped.

Outstanding thai cuisine. We enjoyed three well prepared dishes: basil stir-fry, pad thai, and green curry. Well balanced flavors. Kept us wanting for more. Quite thankful of the friendly and prompt service. A restaurant we shall favor again in our next visit to UIUC

So much food for the price (~$13-$16)! I got the Thai basil fried rice and it was super aromatic and flavorful, even without meat (I got it with vegetables). The staff is super sweet and service is quick. I had enough food for two meals. Will be coming back soon!

Amazing portions and affordable prices! Get the Pad Thai, it’s delicious. Also, I could tell they used very fresh ingredients. I got a chicken one and my friend got a veggie one. The chicken was really well cooked – juicy and not dry at all. Will visit again!

Recently went and had a negative experience, and the owner replied, offering a replacement plate for the one I had ordered..so here’s the second review!
I would be lying if I said that management does not care for our reviews. They were extremely responsive, apologetic, and kind on the phone. I ordered the Pad-See-Ew with vegetables and was surprised to not only find a LOT more vegetables, but also great flavors. The only thing I’d say is to ask for one spice level lower than you normally would—they really pack the spices! I had an extremely pleasant experience the second time around, and am definitely going to visit again.
I appreciate the owner’s responsiveness and concern, and would definitely recommend giving this place a shot.
