This was my first time eating out since coming to Ottawa, and it turned out to be a terrible experience. This restaurant was very dishonest—they lied to my face. I just wanted to have a beer, but they took advantage of the fact that I don’t speak English well. The menu clearly said $2.99, but they claimed that price only applies during Chiefs games, and it’s normally $4. I may not understand the menu fully, but Google Translate doesn’t lie. Sigh… what a disappointing dining experience.

Their chips and salsa were fresh and right on point as far as Salsa go…. it’s heat vs flavor were perfectly matched.
Our waiter was like rushing us because it was 9:15pm when we came in. He brought my food out and like kind of aggressively slid my plate to me as I was trying to move my phone out of the way.

Tried for the first time and the food was delicious! Chips were warm and crunchy when they were brought out. I ordered the nachos supreme. There was the perfect chip to topping ratio. Fed 2 people with one plate. The food did not disappoint. Will be going back again soon!

I love this place! My family comes here often and they’re always super nice! The owner always comes up to talk to my husband, daughter, and I and is extremely friendly! All the servers love my baby and are always playing with her. When the owner first found out about my pregnancy he gave a shot to my husband as a congratulations and I thought that was very nice. The food is always good and I love their drinks! If my family is going out for Mexican food we always come here

Service was great. Food tasted fresh. I ordered the chimichanga with beans and rice. Plenty of beans rice and man there not shy with sour cream and guacamole. The only complaint I have was the chimichanga was small compared to others I’ve had from other places. There was more sour Cretan and guacamole than chimichanga

If I could give a negative review for the atmosphere and service I would. But I had to give a “one”. The food looks nothing like the photos at all! Maybe a new owner.
Seating and service was cloak and dagger with a total of six different people who never introduced themselves. The noise level was much higher than a bar, You must yell very loud and cannot hear a thing. A man asked us first thing if we wanted alcohol and when we ordered non alcoholic he stopped eye contact, walked away and it got hairier after that. Another man arrived and My Husband ordered but when it was my turn I asked a question about the menu and the server walked away from me mid sentence to go to the other table -it was surreal!
When He decided to come back and did not let me finish my order again and we considered leaving right there and then but were too tired form the road trip. A different waiter brought back salty food that is really not mexican but looks Mexican.
If you want to get drunk,
super loud, get charged way over the top and drive home wasted –
this is the place for you. If I was in law enforcement I would camp out at their parking section
