This used to be our favorite place, but unfortunately over the past v5 years, so many changes and not for the better. The dinners have shrunk by a quarter and the prices are up ridiculous. We found another place to love. Sad to really have to move on as it’s always been our favorite go to place

Wanted quick Chinese food because the Mall foods courts where closed, didn’t want to pay top dollar for multiple single items. I got the combo meal and it was the best. Definitely recommend this place!

Same amazing Chinese food as it’s always been. Haven’t eaten here in atleast 5 years and it’s exactly how I remembered it.

After having visited several less then satisfactory Chinese food restaurants, my mother and I decided to try the Eighty Eight. The food was delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised. We opted to eat in, which we both enjoyed. It’s a great (very clean) place to spend a quiet meal with a friend or loved one. You can stay as long as you want, and the owners/staff were very nice.

The only thing that would ever amount to a single star review was my most recent experience. I ordered… Was told that they do not accept Apple Pay… OK so I explain that I have to go to an ATM and that I’ll be back to pay. The problem is that when I returned, admittedly 17 minutes BEFORE closing, I was greeted to a blacked out building and a locked door. Ironically the hours are posted in bold red ink as if to say “we just don’t care”. You guys lost me, not that the food is good, it’s just close by.

Called and had an order delivered if you’re gonna serve English speaking people and I hate to sound prejudiced, but I’m not learn how to speak English. Order was wrong and the food sucked. I don’t know if they have new management or something but it wasn’t bad three or four years ago That will be my last order ever.

Food was overall good, but not great. We ordered delivery and it took a while, but our hotel staff said they get busy because a lot of people order from here, and with tip we ended up spending $70 for a decent amount of food.
Scallion pancakes are good. Crab rangoon was not. I took a bite out if a crab rangoon and the crab in it tasted a little off, I couldn’t even finish chewing/swallow it. The dinner plate with skewers, fried rice, and spring roll was good and a lot of food. We have leftovers for later which is always a plus.
Overall, if we could give 1/2 stars I’d give it a 3.5, more good than bad.

So disappointed. Hadn’t ordered for years as moved 4 years ago. As we were in Danvers decided to bring an order home with us. Won’t be doing that again.
The onion pancakes were dripping with grease, as were the Spring rolls. I had to wrap them in paper towels to absorb the oil.
I don’t know what was in the so called crab Rangoon, but not crab.
The beef lo mein was a disappointment also.
Maybe it had changed hands over the last 4 years, but I can’t believe the rating this restaurant has.
We ordered from here for years when we lived in Danvers. So sad.

Spent $30 for the worst Chinese food I ever tasted. I got crab Rangoon which there was no crab in it. I got the house special seafood combo. Crab was so water logged didn’t even look or taste like crab, I got 1 scallop and 3 shrimp. Tons of veggies which whatever sauce it was in left a nasty taste in my mouth. $30 and it all went in the trash. Will NEVER go there again. What a waste of my money and I’m still hungry
