Also, they have a selection of deserts that I didn’t try, but am sure are fantastic!
I saved their menu and will absolutely order from McAlister’s again when I’m back in the area. Thank you to their staff for making sure we had our order in spite of the stress they had to be under. Exceptional!
Food was brought to the table. Sandwiches were outstanding. Thin sliced corn beef. Very nice bread quality and taste.
We were happy with our meal. A little pricey. The food was average but the drink cost was expensive. When a large size is the only option and then you overcharge for a large size, that kind of stinks.
Clean restaurant, friendly staff, nice menu, good location and plenty of parking. However, the food was just fair. The honey bbq potato had good flavor, but the potato was very dry. The Cuban sandwich was also tasty, but the bottom of the roll was so mushy it was like it was put in water. It was inedible. The sandwich dripped liquid; I’m assuming it was from the pickles. Nothing else should have been liquidly.
From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for something special. McAlister’s has a way of making you feel right at home — not just because of the friendly faces behind the counter, but because of the calm, welcoming atmosphere that greets you as soon as you step inside. The lighting is just perfect — not too bright, not too dim — exactly what these tired old eyes appreciate after a long day. It gives the place a warm, inviting glow that makes you want to sit down, take your time, and truly enjoy your meal.
Now, let’s talk about the food — because that’s where McAlister’s really shines. I ordered a sub, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and just the right balance of textures. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The bread was perfectly toasted, the meats and cheeses were fresh, and the condiments complemented the sandwich beautifully without overpowering it. It’s the kind of sub that reminds you what a real sandwich should taste like — hearty, satisfying, and made with care.
What really stood out to me, though, was how much McAlister’s seems to understand what the customer wants. They’ve mastered that balance between quality food and thoughtful service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and they genuinely seemed happy to make sure everything was just right. You can tell this isn’t just another restaurant to them — they care about the people who walk in the door.
And if you’ve never tried more of their menu, you’re missing out. Everything I’ve had from McAlister’s — from their soups to their salads, sandwiches, and of course their famous sweet tea — has been consistently delicious. It’s rare to find a place where everything on the menu tastes this good, but McAlister’s really delivers.
All in all, it’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a great meal, and feel taken care of. I’ll definitely be back soon — because McAlister’s doesn’t just serve food, they serve comfort, quality, and genuine hospitality.
