I ordered through ubereats. I was called and told that they did not have string beans or cabbage, so i settled for mac and cheese and french fries as my sides FOR MY FIRST ORDER. When my order arrived they replaced my cornbread with two pieces of sliced white bread, the chicken had no seasoning what so ever, and the rice and beans was disgusting! With my SECOND order they did not give me my collard greens instead they gave me double mac and cheese with no notification AND I ORDERED BAKED CHICKEN BUT THEY SENT LEMON PEPPER WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I decided to try out Sweeteheartz due to the good reviews… I’m not sure what happened between the good reviews and the time I got there, but we will not be going back.
The prices are reasonable. We waited a while for our carry out. Inside seating is not open at this time.
I ordered the ham steak, grits and eggs. My ham was over cooked, tough and tasteless. There is nothing that I’ve ever eaten that I can compare it to. My grits was lumpy. The scrambled eggs were fine. My husband got the fish and grits and he said it was not good. They forgot the hash browns, but we didn’t realize it until we got home. They were also out of their famous square biscuits. On a good note, my daughter did enjoy her chicken and waffles.
People coming out of the restaurant commented that their food was good. Maybe it was an off day…

I purchased take out food, the night their a/c went out. They were actually closed due to the problem but I ask please and the owner opened the door and said lets go. I order a small dinner of barbeque spare ribs with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The food was plentiful and the cost was only $4.99. I opened my container before I left and the food looked so delicious. So delicious that I used my fingers to taste the collard greens. They were so good I couldn’t wait to get home. I sat on my porch and ate. I was satisfied and there was still enough to give to my son. Well today coming home from doctor, I stopped for a late breakfast. I had a sunnyside up egg with beef sausage and grits. A hot tea and one of their famous square biscuits. It was so good but I could not eat it all. I brought my husband some of the biscuit and sausage. The place is down home soul food. The place is also down to earth no pretenses here. The owner is warm and open. I am so happy to know her and have the opportunity to enjoy her cooking.
