This is our “go to” for breakfast burritos when we reluctantly make the drive from SE Iowa to Southern Oregon. Rawlins is always an overnight stay, and we found Los Jilbertos when we stayed at the Econolodge next door. Our first visit, we each ordered a breakfast burritos, and they are HUGE!!! Also delicious! On our most recent visit, we opted to share a burrito which still stuffed us for a very long drive. We added a hot chocolate and a cappuccino which were both very nice. The restaurant is spotless with a great vibe and there is a refrigerated “bar” where you can get all of the sauces, pico, etc. The staff is so friendly and the food is the best. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I have never had a bad meal here. Be warned, its a lot of food! Everything is bigger than you are expecting. The speed of service great and its all prepared fresh.
Plenty of parking and its always clean and people are always friendly. Plan on spending about $10 for breakfast and $20 for lunch and dinner.

It’s not the greatest experience. It’s very pricey for “fast food”. The tacos were good but had corn and diced carrots in the ground beef? The burrito was packed of green peppers with barely anything else. The enchilada had only rice, which tasted like a boxed rice. We really wanted chips and regular salsa, but that doesn’t exist here. Overall, we were very disappointed and felt it was a waste of money. Also, if you order for dine in you’ll still get to go containers and tiny plastic silverware.

I love that there is an option for a drive thru on the days that walking in isn’t doable! The food has been good every time, from getting regular burritos , breakfast burritos, or rolled tacos! My favorite is definitely the rolled tacos! But I do have to say the guacamole isn’t typical guac, it’s more like a creamy guac sauce, but is still really good! My kids are huge fans of fries and they have a “just fry” option and it’s literally a to go box packed full of fries would definitely recommend.

Stopped here while passing through. Delicious food! We ordered the super fries with carnitas and 2 tacos asada. I dont think they were particularly fast or cheap, but large portions and better than Taco Bell.

I was traveling, we wanted to eat something good, like usual, something Mexican, but this place doesn’t serve the food. It’s horrible, cold food, I imagine, they only heat it in the microwave.

This restaurant far exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, the portion sizes were much larger than expected, and the staff was incredibly kind – they truly went above and beyond. My family will return here every time we come to Rawlins for those long days of school sports.

Ordered menudo and it met my expectations. The portion was more than enough and the price was just right. Definitely had flavor to it, I’ve been to other places that had no taste and very bland but not this place. Will try other dishes next time

My husband went in tonight about 10 minutes before closing and felt SO bad because the staff were obviously cleaning up and getting ready to leave for the night, but still served him with kindness and the food is AMAZING!! Thank you so so so much. We came in late because we’re passing through on our way back to Colorado from Nevada. We will make this one of our stops from now on (during daylight hours… Sorry yall! I understand your pain )
