My friend and I were looking for an interesting place to eat after our hike at Anthony’s nose and I wanted to check out a new town I hadn’t been to yet. So we settled on this restaurant after seeing the international menu with unique options. We’re SO glad we stopped in. The waitress/bartender was so pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere was interesting and looked a little “cold” modern sleek steel but with plants and colorful art. It looked like a club lounge because there was a big open space but I didn’t know at the time; only from reading reviews it looks like this place turns into a nightclub, which honestly sounds fun. I love a good nightclub that actually serves REAL food. Anyway, I ordered the Fufu which I’ve never had before, with the Green Garden Bliss Soup and snapper. My friend ordered the Curry Panko Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken. Both were amazing!! I am salivating now as I’m writing this review because I want to eat those dishes all over again. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ofori and learning about his story. Such a nice man!!! He’s going to be cooking for 3 days straight as a way to feed the homeless while breaking a World Record . I’m so proud of him!!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant! When I arrived I parked in a small lot nearby. I walked into the cutest restaurant. I was served by Nefertiti, and she was awesome! I ordered:

Ghana Punch
Shrimp Tacos
Chicken rasta pasta
Mama G Oxtails
Mango Habanero wings

The food was excellent! My favorite definitely was the oxtail! I loved this restaurant and need to return!

This place does not have enough recognition for how bomb it is. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive the whole time we were there. The place was beautiful BUT THE FOOD?! 10/10 across the board. If you haven’t tried it you must go. I got the oxtail tacos that came with its own gravy and red snapper with jollof *chefs kiss*. Everything was succulent, tender and fresh. A must if you’re visiting this part of town.

️ **Chef’s Kiss @ Ofori’s World Cuisine**

From the moment you step in, the aroma alone makes your mouth water — and the food? Pure magic.

**Oxtails, sweet plantains, jollof rice** – finger-licking good.
**Fried calamari**, crispy & seasoned to perfection.
**Branzino & Snapper**, golden and flavorful.
The **Ghana Punch**? Smooth, bold, no hangover!

✨ Cozy, colorful vibes. Cultural décor. Music that moves your soul.
**Attentive Staff**
Let’s be Real: We need an **Ofori’s in White Plains & NYC** — it’s that good.
10/10 — *Would kiss the chef myself if it meant another plate of those oxtails* ‍

Extremely authentic African/Caribbean cuisine. And the menu has so much more!! Tacos, burgers, waffles. Amazing. I had the Branzino with rice and sweet plantains. My boyfriend had the panko crusted stuffed chicken and Mexican Street fries Wow. You can tell the chef took the time to impress his customer. I was over the moon happy Ate it all; no leftovers. Drinks were poured well. Will be back very soon.

First time ever been to this place – will definitely come back! The executive chef was on chopped, and him and the rest of the staff truly made you feel like family.
It was my first time trying African food – got the Ghana style jerk chicken. Unreal how good was!
Also must try the jollof rice! What wonderful flavor!
Nicest people + great food = happy customers!

Group of 4 had dinner at Ofori’s. If you’re like me, you’ve been wanting to try it but haven’t gotten around to it. Well, definitely give it a go! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, cocktails, and service. Pics are the ghanachanga (one with shrimp other with chicken), the OMG burger with cheese melted on top of the bun and gold leaf in that, and U fried rice with shrimp. Also had coconut shrimp appetizer and calamari- excellent! The desserts were meh, but ok. Only thing we didn’t like was the lack of customers. And that’s on us. We should be supporting all local owned restaurants that are quality, and open to expanding our palette and trying new flavors. Three courses and cocktail for about $50 each. Next time I will try the fish or Ghana stews!
