OK, I was a big fan of the previous restaurant the Catalina BBQ joint. So I was a bit concerned about this new concept. And when I walked in I wasn’t sure about the new decor – certainly more upscale than the previous restaurant. But having eaten dinner there twice this last week, I am sold…end of story. The new bar is actually pretty nice…no complaints. The new menu is GREAT. It looks like the restaurant is focusing on doing a handful of things really well. And they do. Great cocktail menu (they didn’t have a French 75 on the menu for my wife, but they made one for her and it was great). They have a solid wine menu (I think they could use a few more selections). The food is EXCELLENT. I personally had the Sonoran Dog one night and the Braised Short Rib the other. Both were, well, EXCELLENT (great fries with the dog, BTW). Service was pretty good (they could have been faster with the drink service and maybe needed one more person behind the bar). The folks working the restaurant were all super nice and welcoming. And not to dwell on it, but the food was EXCELLENT! That will bring us back on our next visit.

I had such a great experience here. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive without hovering, just really good energy all around. No complaints on the food, came out fast, was very fresh and full of flavor . Service was the highlight Damaris was amazing all around, very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I came to support a coworker who had a music gig here. I was unaware of the reservation requirement as when I arrived they said the patio where he was playing was sold out. I told the other party that was meeting me and they were able to make a reservation online. When the other party arrived, the wait staff magically found a table on the patio…
This was an underwhelming and expensive experience. The food was mediocre at best for the pricing and I also had to track down our waitress to get my bill so I could leave. Won’t be returning.
