Food was too good to put in styrofoam, however, the brown stew snapper superb. I wish the catering some form of roots drink or sorrel but their food do speak for itself. Wasn’t a big fan of the mixed vegs. I thought mixed vegs rendered something else. I bet the cabbage would have been better;) Will have more ppl come and eat here. They do put love in their island flavors for sure. The plantains were perfect

My first and last visit. I come from a Trinidadian home and I normally don’t eat everybodies curry chicken but I gave this a try and it was probably one of the worst curry chicken that I have tasted. The plantains were gooey and the rice was still damp as if it was sitting in water. Not to mention that the service was slow and the cashier was serving the food with no gloves on her hand. Food was a 3/10 would not recommend.

The portion sizes were small for the amount is money it cost. They didn’t have a lot of things that were listed on the menu. The woman wasn’t friendly. The beans and rice was dry and I asked for extra gravy and she told my that there was extra already on it. The cabbage wasn’t cooked. The fried fish was as well.

The food was good. Oxtails were nice and tender. Like most Jamaican restaurants, the portion of the main dish was limited. The platter was loaded with sides. Definitely the best fried plantain I’ve had

My wife and I have driven by many times but were not able stop. Sunday we made a decision to go there and dine in, to get the full experience.
From the moment we walked in the line was 9-10 people deep. Bob Marley playing on the radio. We asked the couple in front of us if they had been there before and what they recommend. Ox tail and Brown Stew Chicken. My wife decided to try the Chicken but I went for the Fried Whiting. The server said it would take about 5min to fry up some and if I minded waiting. I told them I was more than OK to wait. Our meals came with two sides and the portions were enough for another meal later. We sat down with our Jamaican Ginger Beer and Cream Soda for a nice meal and good conversation about our desire to revisit Jamaica soon.
The reason for 4 stars and not 5: Like many small mom & pop joints the full menu is not always available. They look to use the whiteboard in the 1st pic to show what is available.
We will definitely be returning.

This place is amazing. The staff are blessed! You can feel the love walking into the place a d the food! Jeezam!! Its real good. The servings size is . You can easily pass this place if you are driving fast, but like me it’s well worth the U-Turn… simply amazing food, and people.
