This is the most upscale event venue in the French Quarter. The service is warm and friendly. The food prepared by Chef Trent is sumptuous and thoughtful. I attended a wedding and a corporate lunch here and I was so impressed. The staff took such great care of me. The cocktails were so yummy. I think the bartender’s name was Mary, she has gifted hands. She made me a BALANCED hurricane. Best in the quarter. Highly Recommend for special events.

Wedding at Marché – Outstanding Experience
As the mother of the bride and overall wedding planner, I highly recommend this venue. My daughter and her fiancé did a detailed search for just the right wedding venue to meet their needs. We booked Marché about six months in advance after visiting multiple venues, and it quickly stood out. The planning process can be tedious and tricky, but their Special Events Operations Manager, Wallace, was truly exceptional. He is the primary reason we chose Marché and, ultimately, the reason our wedding day was such a success.

We had our wedding reception at Marche in December and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and the team at Creole Cuisine. Firstly, my wedding had to be postponed an entire year, and Monica was such a pleasure to work with. She was fully understanding and did everything in her power to accommodate us and our new date. We had absolutely no issues in that aspect. Monica worked with me on details of my wedding for 2 years. She was truly so amazing and always promptly got back to me. The night of our wedding Wallace was with us. He was absolutely incredible and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help us navigate the night. He made sure everything was absolutely perfect and us nor any of our family members ever had an empty glass. The food was absolutely incredible. The venue is stunningly breathtaking with the most beautiful city views. This place should be everyone’s first choice for a New Orleans wedding. I wish we could do it all over again!! Thank you Monica for dealing with my problems, questions, and father for the past 2 years with a smile on your face!!! We were planning a destination wedding with only one visit to Marche with the Emily, who helped us plan and entire wedding via emails, and chats. She was most helpful and resourceful. The venue itself is architecturally beautiful, with the windows, chandeliers, mirrors, the light and over looking the river and the quarter as a back drop made it all so so perfect. Wallace the day of Manager – I couldn’t say finer things about him – he was so intune with our needs, the wedding party needs, as well as the guest. A day of wedding coordinator was not needed as Wallace made it all happen with grace, ease and efficiency. Truely a gem! As a floral designer in Pasadena, CA, I am at many different venues doing many different weddings and this one was at the top of all the venues. The food was amazing, we chose plated salads with food stations as most of our guest were from out of town, so we wanted to have many different flavors of the great southern cuisine and I must say, it was so so delicious. Our guest raved on the venue and food and of course the drinks. If I had to chose Marche again, I go running back! Our experience with Marche for our wedding was excellent! It was important to us to have a venue in the Quarter because so many of our guests would be visiting New Orleans for the first time, and we wanted them to have the best experience. We saw so many other venues, but we saw so many other venues and none of them spoke to us the way Marche did. The location and the venue itself are amazing. We worked with Monica throughout most of the process, and she was a pleasure to work with. She was communicative and helpful any time we had a question or wanted to add food, drinks, time, etc. to our package. It was also a very easy process to reschedule our date due to COVID as well as to schedule a tasting. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. Everyone raved about the food. There had been so many options that we had trouble choosing what to offer our guests, but everything was delicious. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. They took my husband and me to a separate room as soon as we arrived after our ceremony and made sure we ate. Then they checked in with us regularly and made sure we always had drinks throughout the night. And of course, the venue is beautiful. I really could not imagine having had our wedding reception anywhere. I am extremely glad we chose Marche and will highly recommend them to anyone looking to get married or have any event in New Orleans.

As a Wedding Planner, it’s easy to find the pretty location but finding a location that is picture perfect from every angle and has a staff of the best that New Orleans can offer, I really could not ask for better than Marche’. From the in-office staff during planning who answered all 300 of my ridiculous questions to the day-of in-house staff and staff manager, I was blown away by the professionalism and poise of everyone at Marche’. Not only is the venue stunning and located in the best spot possible for river and French Quarter views, but the wrap around balconies and the beautiful ballroom, it’s all just so breathtakingly beautiful! Beautiful place we love going here for New Year’s Eve! However last year they put in a DJ instead of a band and it was not good !!
They did not play any slow songs to dance and if you requested a sing they wanted you to tip them for playing it . I don’t know if the venue knew they were doing this but again this was a bad decision to switch from the live band. We have reserved a table for 3 years in a row here and I hope
