The food was excellent, great spot, maybe can work on the front desk host personnel. The gentlemen up front, perhaps trying to be cool, greeted with “what’s the name on the “res”?” No hello, not do you have a reservation? I did have a reservation but still was not a great first impression, the rest of the experience was great, our server Andrew was excellent with great recommendations and definitely took care of us. We had zucchini chips, grilled octopus, branzino and truffle agnolotti, all were great choices, sauces were delicious. The frozen yogurt desert was really good and a big portion, great to share for two. Location is great, on the beach (old Dune location), will come back for more!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Del Mar Fort Lauderdale, and we were thoroughly impressed by the restaurant’s exquisite ambiance, where every detail has been meticulously curated to create an outstanding atmosphere. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly, contributing to a warm and inviting environment. Our table was ideally located, and our server, Sarah L, was exceptional, offering a perfect blend of friendliness, humor, and in-depth knowledge of the menu. We opted for the Lamb Meatballs, Parmesan Gem Salad, and our standout dishes were the Salmon, which was paired with a glass of white wine, Alexakis Assyrtiko, and for dessert, we chose the Baklava, which had just the right amount of sugar, and the Olive Oil Cake. Del Mar is undoubtedly a restaurant that will leave a lasting impression, thanks to its breathtaking architecture, exceptional hospitality, and delectable cuisine. We are eager to return soon.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was excellent and the service really stood out. Our host, Jessica M, was on point with recommendations — everything she suggested was a hit, and she explained the dishes in a way that actually helped us decide (and tempted us).
We tried the spiced feta, small over grilled seafood platter, the branzino, octopus, and a fun gelato dessert with olive oil cake (can’t remember the name, but it was a perfect finisher). We definitely ordered more than we needed, but the quality, portion sizes, and pricing all felt completely worth it.

Alright, listen. Went to Del Mar in Fort Lauderdale and the food hit hard. Seriously.
Forget the fancy words; the bread situation is straight-up addictive. The Turkish flatbreads are paper-thin and awesome. The onion rolls? Like tiny, savory clouds. We ate way too many.
We got some salads because we’re adults, I guess. The tomato salad tasted like actual greek summer. The beet salad was solid—it’s beets, they were good.
The chicken was the bomb. Not dry, not weird, just perfectly cooked chicken that tasted like someone actually cared.
Our server, Rick, was the best. He was quick, he was genuine, and he didn’t mess anything up. Give that guy a raise.
But here’s the wild part: The actual chef came out to say hi, which was cool. Then he just gave us a dessert that wasn’t even on the menu. Like, “Here, you seem cool, have this secret sugar.” It was amazing.
Bottom line: Good food, great service (thanks, Rick), and the chef’s a legend. Go get some.

We had a wonderful dinner at Del Mar! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is elegant and perfect for a nice night out.
The only thing I would love to see improved is the service — just a bit more attention and speed would make the experience truly outstanding.
Overall, we enjoyed our evening very much and will definitely come back! ️✨

Our time at Del Mar was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the final bite of dessert, every detail felt thoughtfully executed. Although we initially hoped to sit outside, we were seated in a beautiful booth that felt intentionally selected just for us. The two hostesses were gracious, polished, and incredibly kind.
Our server, Nelly, immediately made us feel at home with her warmth, genuine smiles, and effortless charm. Her knowledge of both the wine list and menu was impressive and her recommendations were absolutely flawless. Each dish she presented was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Her service was attentive, seamless, and refined, the kind that makes you feel truly cared for without ever being intrusive. She didn’t just serve us, she gave us an experience.
Cameron also stopped by to ensure everything was exceptional, along with the manager, Hector, which only reinforced the elevated level of hospitality throughout the evening.
A true 10/10 experience! We will absolutely be returning.

The remodel of this place that used to be Dune is night and day. They did a great job and it looks great. We were a large party and seated outside. We all ordered different drinks off the menu but were very disappointed once they arrived. Not too sure what was happening with the drinks but no matter what was ordered they tasted watered down (dirty martini, margarita, spritz, etc). The manager was brought to the table and we explained. He insisted to make another round of drinks to see if they would be better (he explained they have only been open for 2 weeks and were still learning which we knew going into dinner) so we agreed. When they were brought out they were better but still off. Most of the table ended up switching to wine. The manager did comp the 1st round of drinks. The food was great which made up for the issue with drinks but drinks usually are the money maker so sure hope they get them figured out. If they would have been on point we would have stayed and had additional but chose to leave and go somewhere else for drinks.

Hands down one of the most amazing dining experiences in south Florida. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside and out! From the moment you walk in to the magnificent dining room, They also have a huge outdoor patio and beautiful views right on the beach. The service was phenomenal from start to finish! All the drinks and dishes we had were so outstanding! Would highly recommend this restaurant! Looking forward to returning and trying more delicious dishes!

Del Mar is an absolutely stunningly designed restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is blended a nice modern decor but amazing greenery and lighting. While the outside patio and bar has a great ambiance, dim lighting and fire pit and it is topped off by being right on the ocean so you get a cool ocean breeze. The food was also very good I highly recommend the various dip options. This is a great place to have dinner or even just get drinks and some small bites.

Had the pleasure of attending Sunday Brunch at the New DelMar Restaurant in Ft Lauderdale. From the moment you walk in you are taken into an oasis of decor. Bartenders were very friendly & knowledgeable. We move to our table outside to feature stunning ocean views. Our Server Nelly made our experience beyond our imaginations. Her recommendations on menu & wine were top tier caliber. Assertiko wine with the Seafood Platter/Boujaves went perfect together. Can’t wait to go for Dinner.
